• Racks up three hits in loss
Burleson went 3-for-4 in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Pirates.

Advice: There wasn't much for the hitters early in this contest, but Burleson was able to account for two of the five runs on Pittsburgh starter Paul Skenes' line. Through 10 games in June, Burleson is batting .286 (12-for-42) with five extra-base hits. He continues to be consistent for the Cardinals with a .283/.314/.455 slash line, nine home runs, 24 RBI, 20 runs scored and two stolen bases over 58 contests this season. Four of his homers have come in June. Rotowire.com Today, 12:10 am

  • Goes yard again
Soderstrom went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Padres.

Advice: Soderstrom has homered in back-to-back games, giving him three long balls this season. He's also hit safely in five of his last six contests, going 6-for-17 (.353) in that span. The 22-year-old had struggled to get anything going earlier in the season, but he's now at a .222/.347/.413 slash line with three homers, eight RBI and five runs scored over 75 plate appearances. He appears to have leapfrogged J.D. Davis for the starting role at first base, though Soderstrom would still have the advantage if it ultimately becomes a platoon situation. • Stays hot in loss
Vaughn went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Vaughn has hit safely in his last 11 games, going 16-for-44 (.364) with three homers and five RBI in that span. The first baseman is up to a .226/.283/.372 slash line with seven long balls, 23 RBI, 23 runs scored and one stolen base across 62 contests. Vaughn hasn't been at risk of losing playing time in the White Sox's weak offense, but his recent play has positioned him as one of the team's better batters after he shook off his slow start to the campaign. • Tyler Soderstrom hits game-tying homer in eighth
Tyler Soderstrom went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk versus the Padres on Tuesday.

Advice: Soderstrom has homered in back-to-back games, raising his OPS from .622 to .760, and tonight’s tied the game in the eighth inning. Now that the A’s seem to have committed to Soderstrom at first base against righties, he’s of some interest in leagues in which he qualifies at catcher. He doesn’t yet in traditional leagues, as he spent more time at DH than anywhere else in 45-game stint with the A’s last year. He’s appeared in just one major league game at catcher this season, playing four innings off the bench. Tonight’s start was his 19th at first base. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:23 pm
  • Horwitz tallies two hits, one RBI vs. Brewers
Spencer Horwitz went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Brewers.

Advice: Horwitz’s RBI single in the fourth inning scored Isiah Kiner-Falefa from second to give the Jays a 2-0 lead. He’s now hit safely in three straight games since being recalled from Triple-A Buffalo last week, and is 5-for-14 in four games with three walks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:07 pm
  • Mark Vientos drives in two in loss
Mark Vientos went 1-for-4 with two RBIs in a loss to the Marlins on Tuesday.

Advice: Vientos laced an RBI double 98.2 mph down the left-field line for two RBI in the second inning. The 24-year-old continues to operate as the Mets primary starter at third base, for now, and is hitting .320/.381/.587 with 15 RBI on the season. He’s worthy of an add in most leagues while he has the starting job. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:52 pm

  • Josh Naylor has two hits, HR in win
Josh Naylor went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: Naylor blooped in a 79 mph single in the third inning that scored a run, but he certainly got all of his home run in the eighth inning, hitting it 425 feet at 109 mph for his 17th home run on the season. The .224 batting average might not be what you were looking for but the power and 50 RBIs have been elite for Naylor this season. He may be sacrificing a bit of average for power, but he also came into this game with a .200 BABIP, which is well below his career mark of .283. The batting average should continue to tick up as the summer goes on. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:40 pm
  • Jeimer Candelario drives in a run in loss
Jeimer Candelario went 1-for-4 with an RBI in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Candelario got the scoring started with a run-scoring double off of Triston McKenzie in the first inning for his 27th RBI of the season. The 30-year-old has been picking it up of late, slashing .277/.338/.585 over his last 16 games with five home runs, nine runs, nine RBI, and two steals. Given his big contract in the offseason, he figures to remain in the Reds lineup every day even when Noelvi Marte comes back, shifting back to being the primary first baseman. Now could be the time to scoop up the Candy Man if he’s still on waivers in your league. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:36 pm

  • Managing hamstring injury
Manager Dave Martinez said that Gallo pulled his left hamstring during Tuesday's win over the Tigers, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Advice: Gallo was grabbing at his hamstring after grounding out in the seventh inning, and he was immediately replaced at first base by Joey Meneses. Martinez said the Nationals will know more about the severity of Gallo's injury Wednesday, but the team will likely bring a minor-leaguer onto its taxi squad in case he needs to go on the injured list.
