    • Kyle Schwarber has two home runs in win
Kyle Schwarber went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: He hit both of them off Kutter Crawford, including one on the first pitch of the game, which was also his first time back in Fenway Park since playing for the Red Sox. Neither big fly was in any doubt with both of them being hit over 425 feet at at 110 mph or harder off the bat. The 31-year-old now has 13 home runs and 38 RBI on the season to go along with a solid .240 average. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:06 pm
    • Taking on-field BP
Edman (wrist) will take batting practice on the field at Busch Stadium on Tuesday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Advice: The switch-hitting Edman was recently cleared to hit from both sides of the plate and will now progress to taking on-field BP for the first time since last October's right wrist surgery. Edman's progress from the operation has been slow and involved numerous starts and stops, but he's been trending in a positive direction for the last few weeks and he might not be far off from a rehab assignment. • Tommy Edman (wrist) takes on-field batting practice
Tommy Edman (wrist) progressed to taking on-field batting practice on Tuesday for the first time since offseason wrist surgery.

Advice: The big question for fantasy managers is when will Edman be ready for a minor league rehab assignment? The 29-year-old switch-hitting center fielder has progressed to hitting from both sides of the plate and doesn’t appear far off from getting into minor league contests. Rotoworld Tuesday, 1:30 pm

    • On base thrice in loss
Andujar went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk in a loss to the Padres on Monday.

Advice: Andujar authored one of two multi-hit efforts on the night for the otherwise anemic Athletics offense, pushing his season slash line to a stellar .321/.328/.500 in the process. The veteran has back-to-back two-hit efforts, and he now boasts six multi-hit tallies over his first 14 games of the season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:48 am

    • Verdugo has two-hit game Monday
Alex Verdugo went 2-for-4 with an RBI against the Royals on Monday.

Advice: Verdugo’s RBI was his 35th of the season. He’s hitting .265 with a .753 OPS on the year. Verdugo batted fourth with Aaron Judge out of the lineup, though he regularly hits in the middle of the order. He’s been a solid but unspectacular contributor for New York this year. • Smacks homer Sunday
Santander went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 9-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: Santander has homered in every other game in June, going 11-for-35 (.314) with five long balls and eight RBI over nine contests this month. It's a continuation of the momentum he found at the plate in late May, though the uptick in power is an added positive. The outfielder is up to 14 homers, 37 RBI, 34 runs scored, 13 doubles and one triple while slashing .227/.306/.480 through 60 contests this season. Rotowire.com Jun 9, 4:26 pm

    • Not starting Saturday
Andujar is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Saturday marks Andujar's first day off since May 25 against the Astros. Andujar was off to a hot start at the plate since returning from the injured list May 24, but the 29-year-old has failed to reach base over his last three games, going 0-for-11 with four strikeouts. With Toronto sending right-hander Kevin Gausman to the mound Saturday, Oakland will start Daz Cameron and Seth Brown in left and right field, respectively. Rotowire.com Jun 8, 10:41 am

    • Miguel Andujar not in lineup Saturday vs. Blue Jays
Miguel Andujar is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Andujar takes a seat for the first time since May 25 after going 1-for-20 over his last five games since a four-hit explosion back on June 1. It’ll be Daz Cameron drawing a start in left field on Saturday afternoon in his place. Rotoworld Jun 8, 10:04 am

    • Mashes another homer
Santander went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 6-3 win over the Rays.

Advice: Santander's slow start to the season stood out compared to most of the rest of the Orioles, but he's warmed up significantly. Over his last 15 games, the outfielder is hitting .291 (16-for-55) with six homers and 11 RBI. He's homered in four of his last seven contests and now has a .227/.306/.472 slash line with 13 long balls, 36 RBI, 33 runs scored and no stolen bases over 58 games this season.
