    • Raisel Iglesias gets 17th save against Orioles
Raisel Iglesias picked up his 17th save with a scoreless ninth against the Orioles on Thursday.

Advice: Even though the Braves are struggling to score, Iglesias has had easier save chances than most closers; this was the ninth of his 19 save chances (17 successful) in which he’s come in with a three-run lead and the bases empty. He’s entered with a one-run lead just three times. Rotoworld Thursday, 2:01 pm
    • Collects 17th save
Iglesias allowed one hit while tossing a scoreless ninth inning to collect the save Thursday against the Orioles.

Advice: Iglesias hit the first batter he faced, then allowed a one-out single but settled down to record the final two outs and pick up his 17th save in 19 attempts. Iglesias has only allowed one run over his last nine outings since May 17, with each appearance lasting exactly one inning. He's gone 7-for-7 in save opportunities over that span. • Secures eighth victory
Gray (8-4) earned the win over Pittsburgh on Wednesday, allowing one run on four hits and one walk while striking out nine batters over seven innings.

Advice: After allowing the first two batters he faced in the outing to reach base, Gray retired the next 12 hitters to step up against him. The Pirates managed a fifth-inning run on a pair of hits, but that was the only tally they were able to push across the plate. Gray finished with his first quality start since May 3 -- a span of seven appearances -- and snapped a personal two-game losing streak. The right-hander allowed seven runs across 9.2 innings during that two-game stretch, but with Wednesday's excellent outing he improved his overall season ERA to 3.01. • Sonny Gray fans nine in defeating Pirates
Sonny Gray pitched seven innings of one-run ball and struck out nine Wednesday against the Pirates.

Advice: Coming off a down stretch that saw him post a 5.46 ERA in his previous six starts, Gray tonight turned in his first quality start since May 3. He’s now 8-4 with a 3.01 ERA overall. He’s somehow received decisions in all of his starts to date, and he’s the only pitcher qualified for the ERA title who can say that. So far this year, starters have qualified for a decision in 62% of their starts, getting the win 29% of the time and the loss 33% of the time. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:21 pm

    • Earns sixth win
Webb (6-5) picked up the win Wednesday against the Astros, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out five over six innings.

Advice: Webb held Houston to one run through his first five innings before giving up a two-run homer to Yordan Alvarez in the sixth. However, the Giants would hang on for a 5-3 victory while Webb logged his sixth quality start in his last seven outings. Overall, the right-hander sports a 3.02 ERA with a 1.20 WHIP and 78:20 K:BB across 92.1 innings this year. Webb's currently slated for a road matchup with the Cubs early next week. • Logan Webb completes six innings to defeat Astros
Logan Webb yielded three runs over six innings on Wednesday in a win over the Astros.

Advice: Webb limited Houston’s formidable, yet injury-depleted, lineup to just a fourth-inning RBI single by Jeremy Peña before Yordan Alvarez clobbered a two-run homer a couple frames later. Still, he was good enough to outduel Astros ace Framber Valdez at Oracle Park in this one. The 27-year-old workhorse will bring a strong 3.02 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 78/20 K/BB ratio across 92 1/3 innings (15 starts) into a road tilt on Tuesday against the Cubs at historic Wrigley Field. • Dominates Giants for sixth win
Blanco (6-2) got the win over the Giants on Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits and a walk while striking out eight over six innings.

Advice: Blanco matched his season high with eight strikeouts. His lone blemish on the night was allowing a solo home run to Brett Wisely in the third inning. It was an encouraging bounceback effort from the 30-year-old after allowing eight runs and combining to strike out eight over his prior two starts coming into Tuesday's game. Blanco now owns a 2.67 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 67:28 K:BB in 70.2 innings and lines up for an enticing matchup against the White Sox early next week. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 6:14 am

    • Collects third win
Luzardo (3-5) picked up the win Tuesday, giving up two runs on four hits and a walk over 5.2 innings in a 4-2 victory over the Mets. He struck out four.

Advice: The southpaw had a bumpy second inning that included plunking his first batters of the year, but Luzardo was otherwise sharp and left the mound after 91 pitches (62 strikes). Since returning from a flexor strain in mid-May, he's gone 3-3 in six starts with a 4.04 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 29:6 K:BB over 35.2 innings. Luzardo will look to build on this performance in his next outing, which lines up to come on the road this weekend against the Nationals. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:47 am
    • Ronel Blanco holds Giants to one run in victory
Ronel Blanco limited the Giants to one run and three hits over six innings in the Astros’ 3-1 victory Tuesday.

Advice: Blanco matched his high total with eight strikeouts in bouncing back from consecutive poor showings against the Twins and Cardinals. The only damage against him came on a Brett Wisely homer in the third. The win moved Blanco to 6-2 with a 2.67 ERA. He’ll get the White Sox next. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:26 pm
