    • On base three times Sunday
Varsho went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Pirates.

Advice: He was also caught stealing for the first time in six attempts, but overall it was a strong performance from Varsho, who got the start in center field and hit eighth. The 27-year-old has had trouble building momentum at the plate -- he hasn't hit safely in three straight games since early May -- and on the season he's slashing .213/.301/.454 with 10 homers, 30 RBI and 33 runs in 54 contests. • Launches first homer
Friedl went 1-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Friedl provided all the Reds would need in the second inning when he bopped a two-out, three-run home run to give Cincinnati a 4-0 lead. It was the first home run of the season for Friedl, who is coming back from a second stint on the injured list and has played just 10 games this season. As he gets more plate appearances -- just 43 so far -- Friedl's timing should get better and he should improve on his .167 average. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:25 am

    • Swipes fourth bag
Meyers went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base Sunday against the Twins.

Advice: Meyers started his 17th consecutive game in center field and hit fifth Sunday -- matching his highest spot in the order of the season. He's gone 19-for-61 in that span, also tallying three homers, eight runs scored 10 RBI and two stolen bases. Meyers is on the field primarily due to his defensive play, though he's benefitted at the plate from cutting his strikeout rate to 18.7 percent in 155 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:11 pm

    • Homers, reaches base five times
Henderson went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs scored while walking twice Sunday against the Rays.

Advice: Henderson led off the bottom of the first with his 19th homer of the year to provide the Orioles with the early advantage. He went on to reach base in all five at-bats, with the three-hit performance representing his fourth such effort of the season and first since April 24. Through 251 plate appearances over 57 games, Henderson is slashing .268/.368/.591 with 19 homers, 42 RBI, 44 runs and eight steals in as many attempts. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:40 pm

    • Gunnar Henderson homers, reaches five times
Gunnar Henderson went 3-for-3 with a homer and two walks Sunday versus the Rays.

Advice: The homer, his 19th of the season, led off the bottom of the first. Henderson’s batting average has slipped in recent weeks — he came in at .221 in May after hitting .291 in April — but he’s still crushing it in terms of homers and walks. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:47 pm

    • Not yet swinging
Muncy (oblique) said Sunday he's been shut down from swinging for the past 7-to-10 days after he felt a "twinge" around his rib cage, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: The 33-year-old landed on the injured list in mid-May with the oblique strain and doesn't appear to have made significant progress in his recovery. Per David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports, Muncy was able to field groundballs Sunday but is shut down from most baseball activities, so he's likely not particularly close to returning from the 10-day injured list. • Receiving breather Sunday
Realmuto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Realmuto started the first two games of the series and will receive Sunday off after going 0-for-8 with four strikeouts and a run scored. Garrett Stubbs will step in behind the plate and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:15 pm

    • J.T. Realmuto out of lineup Sunday vs. Cardinals
J.T. Realmuto is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Cardinals.

Advice: It’s a day of maintenance for Realmuto in the series finale against the Cardinals. The backstop will get a break with Garrett Stubbs handling catching duties and hitting eighth. Rotoworld Sunday, 12:32 pm

    • Still no timetable for Muncy’s (oblique) return
Max Muncy (oblique) told reporters Sunday that he remains without a timetable to return to the Dodgers.

Advice: Muncy felt something while swinging a bat around a week ago and has been shut down from all baseball activities. The 33-year-old has been on the injured list with an oblique strain May 17 with some hope that it’d be a short-term stint, but obviously that wasn’t/isn’t the case. Stay tuned for further updates on Muncy’s status to get a better idea of when the slugger could return. Rotoworld Sunday, 11:29 am
