    • Edouard Julien fans three times in defeat
      Edouard Julien struck out all three times he was up before being replaced Sunday against the Red Sox.

      Advice: Julien had a great stretch towards the end of last month to push his OPS up to .890, but he’s back down to .795 now after going 1-for-18 with 11 strikeouts in his last seven games. He does have six walks during that span, but he hasn’t scored a single run.       Estrada went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 14-3 loss to the Phillies.

      Advice: Estrada has found some consistency in May, going 7-for-17 (.412) over the first four games of the month. He's added two doubles and four RBI in that short stretch. He started slow, but the second baseman is now up to a respectable .254/.270/.426 slash line with four home runs, 17 RBI, 13 runs scored, one stolen base, seven doubles and one triple over 126 plate appearances.       Julien went 1-for-2 with two RBI, two walks and a stolen base in Friday's win over Boston.

      Advice: Julien was stuck in an 0-for-11 drought since his last hit April 27. The lefty slugger drove in a run with a third-inning single before drawing a bases-loaded walk in the seventh.       Estrada went 0-for-3 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-0 loss to the Red Sox.

      Advice: Estrada reached on an error and recorded his first steal of the year to get into scoring position, though he was left on base. Considering he logged a combined 44 steals over the previous two seasons, it's unusual that he's been less active on the basepaths. It doesn't help that he's batting just .229 with a .248 on-base percentage for the year, though those numbers improve to .291 and .316, respectively, over the last 16 games.       Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a loss Tuesday to the Mariners.

      Advice: Albies has driven in runs in both games against Seattle thus far. The switch-hitting infielder got Atlanta on the board in the eighth with a single to score Jarred Kelenic, and Albies is now up to 18 RBI on the season.     • Julien out of lineup as Twins bench all lefties
      The Twins are opting to bench all their left-handed hitters against Garrett Crochet, which means Edouard Julien, Alex Kirilloff, Trevor Larnach, and Max Kepler are all on the bench on Monday.

      Advice: We had been waiting to see who would get the short end of the stick with Carlos Correa returning from the IL, but it’s impossible to tell that from this lineup. The Twins continue to be the most platoon-heavy lineup in baseball, which is incredibly frustrating for fantasy purposes.       Advice: Estrada opened the scoring when he took Jared Jones deep in the third inning. Estrada has gone 2-for-7 over two games since he recovered from a minor hamstring issue. The second baseman is slashing a modest .235/.255/.422 with four homers, 13 RBI, 12 runs scored and no stolen bases through 28 contests. His power is in line with previous years, but Estrada logged 20-plus steals in both 2022 and 2023, so it's a little unusual to see him getting less involved on the basepaths.
