Cal Raleigh hits pinch-hit grand slam vs. Twins
Cal Raleigh went 1-for-1 with a grand slam in the Mariners’ win over the Twins on Tuesday.
Advice: Raleigh came up clutch for the Mariners. Called on to pinch hit in the seventh inning with the bases loaded, Raleigh sent his ninth homer of the season deep into the left field stands for the fourth pinch-hit grand slam in Mariners history. The righty vs. lefty matchup paid off for Raleigh, who made the most of a breaking ball Steven Okert floated over the middle of the plate. Raleigh is hitting just .213 on the season, but leads the Mariners in homers and RBI (20).
