      Megill retired the only batter he faced to earn the save in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Angels.

      Advice: The Brewers led 6-0 going into the ninth inning, but both Elieser Hernandez and Joel Payamps struggled. That led to Megill entering the game with runners on first and second, and he got Taylor Ward to fly out to end the Angels' rally. Megill has a save in six straight outings and he's converted his last eight chances. He's now 14-for-15 on the year with a 2.11 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 26:7 K:BB over 21.1 innings, functioning as the Brewers' primary closer while Devin Williams (back) is out.     • Trevor Megill barely avoids game-tying homer
      Trevor Megill barely retired the only batter he faced for his 14th save Tuesday against the Angels.

      Advice: The Brewers led this one 6-0 going into the bottom of the ninth, but both Elieser Hernández and Joel Payamps struggled to put the game away. Megill came in with the tying run at the plate and gave up a long flyball to Taylor Ward that Sal Frelick made a jumping catch on at the wall. Statcast said it would have been a homer in zero of MLB’s 30 stadiums, but it did look like it would have gotten over the wall in Angel Stadium if Frelick hadn’t gotten in the way.     • No-decision vs. Philly
      King didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Phillies, allowing one run on six hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out six.

      Advice: King had to contend with traffic for most of his outing Tuesday, though he'd manage to hold the Phillies to one run before departing in the fifth. The 29-year-old right-hander has pitched well of late, posting a 1.71 ERA with 34 strikeouts over his last five outings (26.2 innings). Overall, King's 5-4 with a 3.49 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 101:37 K: BB across 87.2 innings this season. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Brewers this weekend in his next start.     • Michael King struggles with command on Tuesday
      Michael King allowed one run on six hits in 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Phillies.

      Advice: The right-hander struck out six but also walked three on the day and needed 100 pitches to get through his 4 2/3 innings. He did induce 12 whiffs on 47 swings for a 27 percent whiff rate and 27 percent CSW but he also had just a 44 percent zone rate on the night. King has been missing plenty of bats in his first season as a full-time starter, but the consistency hasn’t quite been there. Still, fantasy mangers are not upset about a 3.49 ERA and he remains a solid start this weekend against the Brewers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:40 pm

      Gray (2-3) allowed nine runs on 11 hits in three-plus innings Monday, striking out two and taking a loss against the Mets.

      Advice: Gray never found his footing Monday and the Mets took advantage. Most of the damage came during a six-run second inning and his night was finished after allowing a two-run shot to Brandon Nimmo in the fourth. Gray had allowed nine earned runs over his previous 50 innings before Monday's brutal outing. His season ERA shot up from 2.17 to 3.31 as a result. Gray's next outing is projected to be in Milwaukee.       Jon Gray allowed nine runs in three innings and took the loss against the Mets on Sunday.



      Advice: Gray gave up 11 hits, walked none and struck out two. Ouch. Gray’s ERA jumped up from 2.17 to 3.31 with this blow up. He probably didn’t deserve that 2.17 ERA to begin with given his xFIP was 3.52 entering Monday’s start. The 32-year-old right-hander will look to bounce back against the Royals at home this weekend.

      Kikuchi (4-6) allowed five runs on seven hits over four innings Monday, striking out seven and taking a loss against Boston.

      Advice: Kikuchi was cursed by the long ball Monday, coughing up four solo shots in the first three innings. Tyler O'Neill accounted for two of them, including in the first inning when he went back-to-back with Rafael Devers. Kikuchi had allowed just four home runs over his previous six starts entering Monday and had not given up multiple long balls in any start this season. He's registered a 6.17 ERA over his last five starts, bumping his season ERA to 3.65 through 81.1 frames. Kikuchi's next start is projected to be in Cleveland. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:43 pm

      Skenes (4-0) earned the win Monday against the Reds after he allowed one run in six innings. He gave up six hits, walked one and struck out seven.

      Advice: Skenes has been every bit as advertised over his first seven career starts, and he once again showed off an impressive repertoire Monday to get his fourth win. The rookie right-hander has now gone at least six innings in five of his seven starts, and he's reached at least seven strikeouts six times.     • Kikuchi allows five in loss to Red Sox Monday
      Yusei Kikuchi allowed five runs in four innings and took the loss against the Red Sox on Monday.



      Advice: Kikuchi gave up seven hits, walked none and struck out seven. He had won his last two starts. Kikuchi was hit hard in this one as he allowed four home runs to the Red Sox. He’s now allowed 11 home runs on the season (1.22 HR/9). It was the second time in four June starts that Kikuchi allowed five runs. The 33-year-old left-hander is set to face the Guardians on the road this weekend.
