      Advice: It was a scoreless game until Hernández delivered the contest’s first big hit off Ian Hamilton in the 11th. It actually gave him his first multi-RBI game since May 14.       Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and three total runs scored in an 11-7 victory versus the Pirates on Thursday.

      Advice: Hernandez broke a 4-4 tie with a solo blast in the fifth inning, and Los Angeles never trailed again. The long ball snapped a 10-game stretch without a homer for the veteran outfielder, and after a hot start to the season, he's gone deep just twice over his past 23 contests.       Advice: Rafaela entered Thursday 0-for-10 across his last three games before enjoying a breakout performance. While all four of his hits were singles, three of them led to more runs on the board for the Red Sox. The 23-year-old is slashing a meager .215/.243/.374 through 62 contests, but he's batting .276 (16-for-58) over his last 16 games.       Advice: Duran has multiple hits in four of his last five games, and he's gone yard in back-to-back contests. His homer Thursday came on Jake Woodford's second pitch of the game in the first inning, setting the tone for the Red Sox in their blowout win. Duran is up to five homers on the year, and he's added 27 RBI, 38 runs scored, 11 stolen bases and a .271/.336/.465 slash line over 286 plate appearances.       Advice: Duran spearheaded Boston’s 24-hit barrage on Thursday evening at Guaranteed Rate Field with a tone-setting leadoff homer against White Sox starter Jake Woodford. He also added a sixth-inning sacrifice fly and matched a season-high with four hits. It was the first time he’s accomplished the feat since back on April 3.       Advice: Rafaela matched a season-high with four hits in this one as Boston drubbed Chicago’s pitching staff for 14 runs on 24 hits in a lopsided affair.       Advice: Morel can be streaky with his power production, but he appears to be locked in right now, as he has two home runs across his last three games and three in his last seven contests. The surge has pushed him up to 12 long balls for the season. Morel popped 26 home runs last year, and he certainly could reach or surpass that figure in 2024 if he stays healthy.       Advice: The home run was Morel’s 12th of the year. He’s hitting just .205 on the season, but his .212 BABIP is well below his career .287 BABIP. His 21 percent strikeout percentage is much improved from his career 29 percent strikeout percentage.       Advice: It’s a positive sign that Morel is back in the lineup without missing any time after making an early exit from Wednesday’s contest against the White Sos after fouling a ball off his left foot.
