    • Breaks out with two homers
Murphy went 4-for-4 with a pair of two-run homers and three total runs scored in Wednesday's 7-0 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Murphy extended Atlanta's lead to 3-0 in the third inning with a two-run blast off Tarik Skubal before cranking a second two-run homer in the fifth off Mason Englert. It's the first multi-hit game of the year for Murphy, who was batting just .135 with a lone homer through his first 15 games this season. The 29-year-old backstop will hope Wednesday's outburst is a sign of things to come -- Murphy posted an .843 OPS with 21 homers across 438 plate appearances last year. • Out of Baltimore lineup
Westburg (hip) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: Westburg was forced from Tuesday's game with a bruised left hip following a collision on the infield with Juan Soto. He is considered day-to-day and it's possible he'll be available off the bench for this one. The Orioles will start Ramon Urias at third base Wednesday. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago

    • Another multi-hit effort Tuesday
Andujar went 2-for-4 with an RBI infield single in a win over the Royals on Tuesday.

Advice: The hot-hitting veteran kept rolling Tuesday, authoring his fifth two-hit tally in the last nine games while recording his first RBI since June 1. Andujar hasn't provided much pop of late -- he counts a pair of doubles as his only extra-base hits in that aforementioned nine-game span -- but his .314/.326/.430 slash line across 89 plate appearances this season is essentially above reproach. • Launches 18th homer
Santander went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Yankees.

Advice: The 29-year-old spoiled a combined shutout bid for New York when he took Clay Holmes deep in the top of the ninth inning. Santander has slugged four homers in the last four games, continuing a massive June that has seen him slash .292/.347/.738 with nine of his 18 long balls on the season. • Begins rehab assignment
Abreu (ankle) served as the designated hitter and went 0-for-4 with a walk for Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday.

Advice: Abreu started his rehab assignment Tuesday. The Red Sox plan to have him play again Wednesday and hope he can rejoin the big-league club in time for Friday's series against the Reds in Cincinnati, per Alex Speier of The Boston Globe. Rotowire.com Today, 6:08 am

    • Serves up grand slam
Kinley allowed four earned runs on two hits and two walks while striking out one to record his only out Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Kinley entered the game in the ninth inning with the Rockies up by five runs. He allowed three of the first four batters he faced to reach base before serving up a grand slam to Jason Heyward. He was pulled immediately after, sparing him a loss or blown save, but it was still a disastrous outing that ultimately led to a Rockies loss. Kinley has taken over as Colorado's primary closer, though he's now given up six earned runs across his last three appearances spanning 2.1 frames. Rotowire.com Today, 5:40 am

    • Active in return
Carroll went 2-for-3 with two walks, a triple, a stolen base and a caught stealing in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Carroll was removed from Sunday's game with discomfort in his left side, but he was ready to go Tuesday after an MRI came back clean. He led off the game with a walk, stole second base, then trotted in on Ketel Marte's home run. Carroll later tripled and scored on a sacrifice fly. The 2023 NL Rookie of the Year's season-opening slump has started to lift; he's 16-for-47 (.340) with four doubles, two triples, nine walks, four steals and 16 runs scored over the last 12 games. • Tyler Kinley tagged for four runs by Dodgers
Brought in with a 9-4 lead in the ninth, Tyler Kinley gave up four runs while getting just one out Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Well, it’s not a blown save. Since it was a five-run game, it wouldn’t have been a blown save even if Kinley has remained in to give up the tying run. Kinley had reemerged as the favorite for saves in the Rockies’ pen, earning three of them this month, but he’s been thoroughly unimpressive overall. The door is definitely wide open for Justin Lawrence at this point. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:20 pm

    • Improves to 6-5
Miller (6-5) earned the win Tuesday against the Guardians, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out two.

Advice: It was another solid outing from Miller, who's now allowed just two earned runs over 12.2 innings in his last two starts. While he's been inconsistent at times this year, the 25-year-old Miller has turned in a respectable 3.46 ERA with a 1.01 WHIP and 82:26 K:BB across 15 starts (88.1 innings). Miller will look to keep rolling in his next outing, currently lined up for this weekend in Miami. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:49 pm
