      Advice: Yamamoto was able to rebound after being not at his best last Monday versus the Giants. The rookie right-hander put together his fifth quality start in his last six outings, though the win was briefly endangered after Elieser Hernandez gave up a pair of solo home runs in the eighth inning. Yamamoto is at a 3.17 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 61:11 K:BB through 54 innings over 10 starts this season.     • Impresses in no-decision
      Greene did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Dodgers, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out eight over 6.1 innings.

      Advice: Greene's one major mistake in Sunday's outing was surrendering a two-run homer to Andy Pages in the fourth. That was the only extra-base hit he allowed in the game. He racked up over six strikeouts for the first time since April 16 and generated 22 whiffs, with a good majority of those coming from his fastball that was averaging 98.8 MPH on the afternoon. He now owns a 2.03 ERA over his last five starts, and for the year owns a 3.22 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 66:24 K:BB in 58.2 innings.       Nola (6-2) picked up the win Sunday against the Nationals, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits and three walks across seven innings. He struck out five.

      Advice: Nola completed at least seven innings for the fifth time in his last seven starts -- including a complete game shutout in his last appearance. Although the 31-year-old generated a quality start, he struggled with the long ball, as he allowed a two-run homer to Eddie Rosario in the fourth and a solo home run to Jesse Winker in the fifth.     • Hunter Greene looks good against LAD
      Hunter Greene allowed two runs on four hits in 6 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Sunday.

      Advice: Greene struck out eight and walked just two on the day. He also posted a 35 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW as the four-seam fastball carved up the Dodgers on Sunday. Greene also allowed just one extra-base hit, but it happened to be a home run to Andy Pages. All of that pre-season talk of Greene adding another pitch was much ado about nothing, as Greene threw just eight splitters on the day and earned one whiff, but his slider command has improved and Greene has a 3.22 ERA on the season heading into a rematch against these Dodgers next week.     • Aaron Nola goes seven in victory over Nationals
      Aaron Nola lasted seven innings and allowed three runs Sunday in beating the Nationals.

      Advice: A strong follow-up to his shutout of the Mets, Nola gave up just two hits, which were homers to Eddie Rosario and Jesse Winker. He’s completed seven innings in five of his last seven starts, and he’s 6-2 with a 3.05 ERA for the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:20 pm

    • Throws from Dodger Stadium mound
      Kershaw (shoulder) threw a bullpen session on the field at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Kershaw has thrown multiple bullpens in recent weeks, though this was the first one that took place on the field. The left-hander is building back up slowly from offseason shoulder surgery and isn't expected to be ready to join Los Angeles until at least mid-July. When Kershaw does return, it's unclear how the Dodgers will adjust their rotation given that back-end starters James Paxton and Gavin Stone have both been pitching relatively well.     • Looks sharp in first win
      Flaherty (1-3) allowed two runs on five hits across six innings to earn the win Saturday against the Diamondbacks. He walked two and struck out nine.

      Advice: Flaherty was sharp as he lowered his ERA to 3.79 and picked up his first win of the season. Despite having only the one win so far, the righty has had a nice bounceback campaign to this point after posting a 4.99 ERA with the Orioles and Cardinals last year. Flaherty has been buoyed by a rise in strikeouts, as he now has an 11.9 K/9 this season, up from 9.2 in 2023.       Lugo (7-1) earned the win Saturday over the Athletics, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out 10 over 5.2 innings.

      Advice: Lugo was able to limit the damage to a two-run home run by Seth Brown in the second inning. This was Lugo's second straight start with double-digit strikeouts, though he came up one out short of a fifth straight quality start. The right-hander is now at a 1.79 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 58:13 K:BB through 65.1 innings over 10 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road against the Rays.       Ober (4-2) took the loss against Cleveland on Saturday, allowing five runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out four batters over four innings.

      Advice: A first-inning, two-run home run by Jose Ramirez set the tone for Cleveland's offense, which ended up scoring in all but one of the four frames during which Ober toed the rubber. The right-handed hurler needed 91 pitches to get 12 outs and finished with his shortest outing since his disastrous eight-run, 1.1-inning loss in his first start of the campaign.
