      Advice: The Nationals' only two runs in the contest came on back-to-back homers by CJ Abrams and Thomas in the sixth inning. The long ball was Thomas' first extra-base hit of any kind since May 29, and he batted just .185 (5-for-27) over that seven-game stretch.       Advice: Stroman gave up six hits, walked two and struck out two. He didn’t qualify for the win because he was unable to complete five innings. Stroman’s ERA is 3.16 on the season, but his xFIP is significantly higher at 4.48. He’s never been a big strikeout pitcher and has benefitted from an 82 percent left on base percentage this year.       Advice: Houck delivered a dominant performance at Guaranteed Rate Field, carrying a no-hitter into the sixth inning before finally surrendering a leadoff single to Lenyn Sosa and a run-scoring double to Zach DeLoach later in the frame to break up the potential shutout. He got 14 runs of support on 24 hits from Boston’s lineup to allow him to cruise to an easy victory. The 27-year-old righty has emerged as a reliable fantasy contributor this season, allowing three runs or fewer in 12 of his 13 starts so far.
