      Advice: It was a stellar effort against a potent Atlanta lineup from Pivetta, who now has nine strikeouts in consecutive starts while punching out eight or more in four of his last five outings. The 31-year-old right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.40 with a 0.94 WHIP and 51:9 K:BB across eight starts (42.1 innings) this season.       Ryan Helsley struck out two in a perfect ninth inning on Wednesday against the Astros to record his major league-leading 20th save of the season.

      Advice: There haven’t been a ton of save opportunities recently for Helsley in recent weeks, with just five chances over the last two weeks. However, he’s converted 20 of his 21 save opportunities this season to accompany a sparkling 2.33 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 29/6 K/BB ratio across 27 innings (27 appearances).       Advice: Pivetta fanned nine and walked two in his longest outing of the year. In eight starts this season, he’s been great three times, good three times and bad twice, which probably should have produced something better than a 3-4 record.
