    • Homers, drives in four
Kepler went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Friday's win over Oakland.

Advice: Kepler did most of his damage with a three-run shot in the sixth inning but later delivered a clutch walk-off single in the 10th. He entered Friday's game with a .398 OPS in 11 games this month and the home run was his first since May 22. Kepler is now slashing .263/.326/.433 with 19 extra-base knocks and 27 RBI through 190 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 19 minutes ago

    • Max Kepler homers, delivers walk-off win on Friday
Max Kepler went 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBI on Friday night, propelling the Twins to a walk-off 6-5 victory over the Athletics in 10 innings.

Advice: Kepler broke out of his recent funk in a major way in the sixth inning on Friday, crushing a game-tying 426-foot (105.6 mph EV) three-run shot off of Mitch Spence that evened things up at 4-4. He then came through with a walk-off RBI single off of Scott Alexander in the 10th inning that sent the Twins’ home faithful into a frenzy. With his three-hit effort, the 31-year-old outfielder is now slashing .263/.326/.433 with five homers and 27 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:45 pm

    • Fans seven in win
Sale (9-2) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks over seven innings Friday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Rays.

Advice: Sale coughed up a run before recording an out in the first inning but settled in for a strong quality start in the win. He forced 17 swinging strikes, including 12 on the slider. It was Sale's second consecutive quality start and sixth in his last seven appearances. The veteran lefty has posted a 2.60 ERA over 45 innings during that span. For the season, he owns a 2.98 ERA with a 99:13 K:BB through 13 outings. Sale's next start is lined up to be on the road against the Yankees. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:51 pm

    • Chris Sale strikes out seven in win
Chris Sale allowed two earned runs across seven innings in a 7-3 win over the Rays on Friday. He struck out seven and walked two.

Advice: Sale was his usual emotional and demonstrative self on the mound even after being handed a huge lead early and that intensity carried him to another great start. This was the fifth time in six starts Sale completed seven innings and the eighth time he’s done so already this season. He’s been one of the most valuable pitchers in baseball this season, stepping into the ace role for Atlanta without Spencer Strider. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:06 pm

    • Tommy Pham (ankle) returns to White Sox’ lineup
White Sox activated OF Tommy Pham from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: The 36-year-old outfielder will jump right back into the leadoff spot in the White Sox’ lineup for Friday night’s series opener against the Diamondbacks. Pham has been one of the best hitters in the team’s lineup this season — hitting .280/.331/.403 with three homers, 12 RBI and three stolen bases through his first 33 contests. • Returns from injured list
The White Sox activated Pham (ankle) from the 10-day injured list Friday.

Advice: Pham wound up being sidelined just a little over the minimum 10 days with a sprained left ankle. With Luis Robert now back to handle center field duties for the White Sox, Pham should see the bulk of his action in right field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:54 pm

    • Nabs first save
Kittredge allowed a hit in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Pirates.

Advice: The Cardinals' bullpen delivered 4.2 scoreless innings, with Kittredge closing it out since Ryan Helsley had pitched each of the two previous days. The save was Kittredge's first of the year to go with 18 holds and three blown saves over 33 appearances. He's hit a rough patch since May 25, allowing eight runs (seven earned) over his last 9.2 innings, but he remains firmly in the high-leverage mix for the Cardinals. Kittredge has a 3.60 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 31:8 K:BB through 30 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:12 am

    • Andrew Kittredge gets first save for Cardinals
Andrew Kittredge recorded his first save as a Cardinal by pitching a scoreless ninth Thursday versus the Pirates.

Advice: Ryan Helsley had this one off after throwing 39 pitches the previous two days, and Kittredge got the nod over Jojo Romero in his place. Kittredge has a 3.60 ERA in 30 innings out of the St. Louis bullpen. Rotoworld Thursday, 2:57 pm

    • Tommy Pham (ankle) likely to return on Friday
Tommy Pham (ankle) is expected to return for Friday’s series opener against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Pham is technically already there since he’s been playing in the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League over the last few days. The 36-year-old outfielder has been on the shelf since early June with a left ankle sprain. Rotoworld Thursday, 2:50 pm
