    • Homers Thursday
Kepler went 2-for-4 with a home run, two total RBI and two total runs scored in Thursday's 11-1 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Kepler extended his hitting streak to 11 games -- he's recorded at least one hit in 15 of his last 16 contests, going 23-for-53 (.434) in that span. It's been quite a start to the year for the 31-year-old Kepler. He's now slashing .329/.390/.562 with three homers, 14 RBI and 11 runs scored through his first 21 games. Rotowire.com 54 minutes ago

    • Max Kepler homers as Twins rout Mariners
Max Kepler went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored Thursday in a rout of the Mariners.

Advice: Kepler blistered a solo shot off Tyson Miller in the seventh inning. The 31-year-old has gone deep three times this year, and the pair of knocks sees his slash improve to .329/.390/.562. There’s still three-quarters of the year to be played, but Kepler is enjoying easily his best MLB season thus far in 2024. Rotoworld Today, 1:04 pm

    • Launches first homer of 2024
Kelenic went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: His third-inning shot off Kutter Crawford got Atlanta on the board, and gave Kelenic his first long ball of the season. Despite the lack of power, the 24-year-old has generally been hitting well in his strong-side platoon role, slashing .280/.333/.373 in 81 plate appearances. Only one of those PAs has come against a southpaw, but with Adam Duvall scuffling so far (.220/.310/.380 in 58 PAs), Kelenic might get more opportunities against same-handed pitching if he heats up. • Kelenic hits first homer of season vs. Red Sox
Jarred Kelenic went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI in the Braves’ win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: It took 73 at bats for Kelenic to finally hit his first homer of the season. His two-run blast in the third gave the Braves an early 2-0 lead, but the Red Sox would battle back before the Braves finally went up 4-2. Kelenic has struggled to make the most of his platooned role, and can’t be relied on by fantasy managers at this time. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:09 pm
    • Not starting Tuesday
Pham is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Tampa Bay.

Advice: Pham started the previous six games and will receive a day off after going 6-for-24 with two doubles and two homers during that span. Rafael Ortega will man center field and bat seventh Tuesday. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:47 pm

    • Slugs second homer
Pham went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Monday against the Rays.

Advice: Pham was the only source of offense for Chicago when he took Tyler Alexander deep for his second home run of the season. Since joining the White Sox on April 26, Pham has regularly hit second in the order and has at least one knock in seven of his 10 games. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:44 am

    • Delivers game-winning hit
Pham went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored Saturday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Pham delivered an RBI single in the 10th inning to put the White Sox ahead for good. Since joining the team April 26, Pham has hit exclusively second in the order and has at least one base hit in six of his seven starts. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:59 am

    • Max Kepler goes deep in victory over Red Sox
Max Kepler went 2-for-4 and swatted a solo home run on Saturday, helping to lead the Twins to a 3-1 victory over the visiting Red Sox.

Advice: Kepler broke a 1-1 tie when he smashed a 405-foot (101.1 mph EV) solo shot off of Cam Booser in the fourth inning. He also singled in the sixth inning but wound up stranded on second base. All Kepler has done is hit since returning from the injured list, and with his two-hit attack on Saturday he’s now slashing .273/.339/.418 with a pair of long balls and 11 RBI in his first 16 games. He’s worth a look in any mixed leagues where he may still be available. Rotoworld Saturday, 1:53 pm

    • Mike Trout undergoes successful knee surgery
Mike Trout underwent successful surgery on Friday to repair the meniscus tear in his left knee.

Advice: Officially, Trout underwent a partial medial meniscectomy. While there’s still no official timetable for his return, the Angels remain optimistic that he’ll be able to return to the lineup at some point during the 2024 season. Unfortunately, that leaves fantasy managers in leagues without injured list spots having to carry a zero on the bench for an indefinite amount of time, or risk the pain of throwing him back into the free agent pool and not being able to reacquire him when/if he does return.
