    • Struggles in non-save scenario
Miller allowed two earned runs on two hits and a walk over one inning in a 7-5 win over the Angels on Tuesday. He struck out two.

Advice: Miller had last seen action Friday, so manager Mark Kotsay opted to give his closer some work in what started as a low-leverage scenario. The fireballing right-hander inherited a 7-3 advantage going into the ninth inning and proceeded to retire two of the first three hitters he faced, but he subsequently allowed an RBI double and single to Nolan Schanuel and Luis Rengifo, respectively, to tighten matters up. Miller bore down and retired Taylor Ward on four pitches to put an end to the threat and the game, but not before allowing multiple earned runs for the first time since May 23. Despite the stumble, Miller has contributed a win and 14 saves to fantasy managers this season, accomplishing those marks with the help of a stellar 15.8 K/9. Rotowire.com Today, 9:52 am

He also extended his hitting streak to five games, during which he's gone 7-for-16 with five RBI and six runs scored. The recent stretch has also brought Vaughn's OPS to .701, its highest mark at any point this season. Rotowire.com Today, 9:12 am
    • Secures 13th save
Duran struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 13th save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Tigers.

Advice: After missing the first month of the season with an oblique strain, Duran has had a little trouble finding his usual form, but he may be coming around. The right-hander has been scored upon only once in his last 11 appearances, posting a 1.64 ERA, 0.55 WHIP and 9:2 K:BB through 11 innings over that stretch while collecting three wins, three saves and a hold. Lowe went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Tuesday's 7-0 win over San Diego.

Advice: It was Lowe bobblehead night at Globe Life Field, and the 2023 Gold Glove winner at first base showed off his bat. He hit two-run homers in each of his first two plate appearances. Lowe's swing has found a groove of late, as he's 10-for-25 with four home runs and 12 RBI over the last six games. Rotowire.com Today, 4:58 am

    • Lifts 13th homer
Burleson went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Burleson fizzled late in June, going 1-for-14 over his last four contests, but he started July on a high note. The outfielder had great June overall, hitting .271 with seven homers, 20 RBI, 18 runs scored, three stolen bases and an .824 OPS over 28 contests. That's earned him a starting role in right field and as the Cardinals' No. 2 hitter. For the season, Burleson is slashing .280/.313/.466 with 13 homers, 40 RBI, 33 runs scored and five steals through 77 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:48 pm

    • Duran earns 13th save in win over Tigers
Jhoan Duran pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn the save on Tuesday against the Tigers.

Advice: Duran now has 13 saves on the season, as he lowered his WHIP in the year to 0.98 thanks to a solid frame against the Tigers, in which he struck out one batter. Duran needed just 13 pitches to get through the inning and has converted four of his last five save opportunities. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:03 pm
