    • Jordan Westburg homers in win over Reds
Jordan Westburg went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in a win over the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Westburg jumped on Nick Lodolo in the first inning with a 378-foot home run that left the bat at 101.9 mph. It was Westburg’s sixth home run of the season to go along with 23 RBIs. It’s been a breakout month for the 25-year-old, but he’s seen his triple slash fall to .286/.336/.513 after going 6-for-28 over his last seven games. The quality of contact gains are real but Westburg is swinging and missing a lot more this season, so the batting average may continue to slip a little bit in the coming weeks. • Jazz Chisholm has two hits, two steals in win
Jazz Chisholm went 2-for-4 with an RBI, two runs scored, and two steals in a win over the A’s.

Advice: Chisholm’s two hits were both singles and both were under 93 mph off the bat; however, he made the most of both trips on the bases with two steals, which gives him seven on the season. The 26-year-old is slashing just .234/.319/.383 on the season and is just one of many Marlins off to a slow start to 2024. Perhaps the possibility of being traded to another team during the team’s firesale will spark a hot streak. Rotoworld Today, 4:59 pm
    • Hits second HR in three games
Cruz went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 5-3 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Cruz' go-ahead no-doubter to right-center in the sixth put the Pirates up for good. Cruz, who also doubled, collected his first multi-hit game in 12 games and only his third since April 6. The talented shortstop, who broke a 17-game homer-less string Friday, has gone 14-for-42 (.333) over his last 13 games with two homers, six RBI and a steal. Rotowire.com Today, 3:40 pm

    • Oneil Cruz homers, doubles in Pirates’ victory
Oneil Cruz homered, doubled and walked Sunday in leading the Pirates to a 5-3 win over the Rockies.

Advice: The double would have been a homer in 24 parks, according to Statcast. Cruz left nothing to chance on the actual homer an at-bat later, sending it 429 feet to right-center. Cruz ended up with two homers and six hard-hit balls in the three-game series against the Rockies. Rotoworld Today, 1:39 pm

    • Heading to bench Sunday
Mullins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Advice: With the Orioles wrapping up their series in Cincinnati with a day game and a lefty (Nick Lodolo) on the hill for the Reds, manager Brandon Hyde likely viewed Sunday as an opportune time to give the lefty-hitting Mullins a day off. Ryan McKenna will check in for Mullins in center field. Rotowire.com Today, 12:16 pm

    • Logan O’Hoppe out Sunday with hand contusion
Logan O’Hoppe (hand) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Guardians.

Advice: O’Hoppe is going to miss at least one more game after he was hit with a foul ball during Saturday’s contest against Cleveland and he was forced to exit. Matt Thaiss gets the start behind the plate and will hit seventh. O’Hoppe should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Today, 7:58 am

    • Not starting Sunday
O'Hoppe (hand) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: As expected, O'Hoppe will be on the bench for the day game to close out the series in Cleveland after he exited Saturday's 7-1 loss with a right hand contusion. Matt Thaiss will step in behind the plate for O'Hoppe, who should be viewed as day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener in Pittsburgh. According to Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register, O'Hoppe has already resumed throwing and was scheduled to take batting practice Sunday, so he could be available off the bench in an emergency. • Whiffs 10 in win
Glasnow (6-1) earned the win over Atlanta on Saturday, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk over seven innings while striking out 10.

Advice: Glasnow didn't allow a man to reach base over the first three frames before surrendering a leadoff single to Ronald Acuna in the fourth, who would later come home to score on a single from Austin Riley. The right-hander responded by striking out seven of the next 11 batters he faced, racking up double-digit strikeouts for the third time this season. Glasnow has now won each of his last three starts, going at least six innings in each of those outings while posting a 29:4 K:BB. Rotowire.com Today, 6:48 am
    • Hurls six shutout frames in win
King (3-3) earned the win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday, allowing six hits over six shutout innings while striking out three.

Advice: King surrendered hits to three of the first four batters he faced in the contest but was able to work his way out of it before retiring the next 11 batters in succession. The right-hander didn't issue a walk for the first time this season, though his three strikeouts on the night also marked a season low. King had allowed at least four runs in back-to-back starts coming in and in three of his last four overall, taking three consecutive losses over that stretch. However, he's now posted three quality starts on the season and has gone at least five innings in five of his last six outings. Rotowire.com Today, 5:58 am
