    • Pasquantino drives in lone run for Royals in loss
      Vinnie Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Marlins.

      Advice: Pasquantino singled in the first inning to score Maikel Garcia from third after Garcia walked to kick off the inning and subsequently stole two bases. It would be the only run the Royals would score on the night as they found themselves in a pitching duel between Yonny Chirinos and Seth Lugo.     • George Springer finds power stroke in win
      George Springer went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-4 win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

      Advice: It was Springer’s sixth home run of the season and first since June 4th. Springer only has three home runs since April 24th, so we’re not looking at a power surge here. It’s also Springer’s first multi-hit game since June 3rd. It’s certainly nice to see, but the 34-year-old is still just 13-for-78 (.167) in June so we’ll need to see a few more games like this before we believe he’s figuring things out.     • Devers homers in loss to Blue Jays
      Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

      Advice: Devers’ home run was an absolute shot, traveling 467 feet at 111.2 mph. He also had a 112.6 mph double later in the game. The Red Sox star now has 16 home runs and 42 RBI to go along with a .285/.368/.559 slash line. It’s shaping up to be another tremendous season for the 27-year-old.       The Blue Jays activated Bichette (calf) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Bichette will skip a rehab assignment and rejoin the floundering Blue Jays following a minimum 10-day stay on the IL. He'll bat leadoff Tuesday against the Red Sox.       Blue Jays activated SS Bo Bichette from the 10-day injured list.

      Advice: As expected, Bichette is ready to go after missing the minimum amount of time while dealing with his calf strain. He’ll go back to his role as the everyday shortstop, and has been bumped up to the leadoff spot for Tuesday’s showdown against the sizzling-hot Red Sox at Fenway Park.       Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Monday in a 4-1 win against the Marlins.

      Advice: Pasquantino put the Royals on the board in the fourth inning with his solo blast to right field. It was the first baseman's first long ball since the first day of June, a span of 20 contests. While Pasquantino hasn't been able to hit the ball over the fence regularly this season, he does have 20 doubles (tied for 10th in the majors) and has already blown away his previous season-best mark with 47 RBI through 76 games.       Hoerner went 2-for-4 with a walk, one stolen base and one run scored in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Giants.

      Advice: Hoerner hasn't hit all that well in June (.194), but he's logged six steals over 19 contests this month. The infielder is up to 12 thefts on 14 attempts for the season, providing speed atop the Cubs' lineup.       Fernando Tatis Jr. expects to be sidelined until after the All-Star break because of his right femoral stress reaction.
