• Back from injured list
The Mariners activated France (heel) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

Advice: France missed the minimum 10 days with a right heel fracture and will skip a rehab assignment, going right back onto the Mariners' 26-man active roster. Tyler Locklear has been filling in at first base for France and remains on the roster, but France should go back to seeing the bulk of the starts at first base for Seattle. • On base four times in rout
Alonso went 3-for-5 with a walk, a run scored and two RBI in Monday's win over the Rangers.

Advice: The first baseman kept the line moving for the Mets in a 14-2 rout. Alonso still isn't supplying his usual power, but he's picked up the pace a bit in June, slashing .259/.348/.483 through 14 games with four doubles, three homers, nine runs and 12 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:13 am
  • Taking seat Monday
Flores is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.

Advice: Flores had started at first base in each of the Giants' last five games, with three starts coming versus lefties and two coming versus right-handers. Though the Giants seem content to deploy Flores as their primary first baseman rather than a platoon bat while LaMonte Wade (hamstring) is on the injured list, Flores will nonetheless give way to rookie Trenton Brooks on Monday. • Taking seat versus lefty
Burleson is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: After starting in each of the Cardinals' last 29 games, Burleson will finally get a break in the series opener in Miami. With southpaw Braxton Garrett on the bump for Miami, Cardinals skipper Oliver Marmol likely viewed it as an opportune time to give the lefty-hitting Burleson a day off. Dylan Carlson will step in for Burleson in right field. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:42 am

  • Productive in Sunday's win
Raley went 1-for-3 with an RBI double, a walk and a run in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Raley's fourth-inning two-bagger plated Mitch Haniger with the first run of the afternoon and snapped a brief 0-for-7 skid that had encompassed Raley's three previous games. Despite Sunday's production, the offseason addition has tailed off at the plate after a hot start to June, posting a .182 average and .562 OPS with a massive 42.9 percent strikeout rate in his last 12 games. • Cleared to play in games
Votto (ankle) was transferred to the Blue Jays' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate Monday to begin a rehab assignment, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Votto is finally ready to play in games following a long recovery from a severe right ankle sprain which he suffered back in mid-March. He remains on Triple-A Buffalo's 7-day injured list and will rejoin the Blue Jays' top affiliate once Toronto determines he's ready to do so. The 40-year-old could eventually become an option for the big club at first base and/or designated hitter, but he's on a minor-league contract and isn't guaranteed anything. • Joey Votto (ankle) starting rehab assignment
Joey Votto (ankle) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday in the Rookie-level Florida Complex League.

Advice: Votto is back in minor league game action for the first time since suffering a right ankle injury back in spring training. The 40-year-old first baseman is hoping to make his Toronto debut at some point this year, but is a non-factor for fantasy purposes at this advanced stage of his career. Rotoworld Monday, 8:54 am

  • Homers, drives in five
Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Padres.

Advice: With two men on in the first inning, Alonso took Dylan Cease deep for this 15th homer this season. He later added a two-run single as part of a four-run eighth to give him a season-high five RBI for the game. This one had to feel good for Alonso, as he broke out of a small slump where he had only five hits and one RBI over his last eight games. The 29-year-old's 15 home runs are tied for fifth most in the National League. He'll carry a .232/.310/.461 slash line into their next series vs the Rangers. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:38 pm
  • Pete Alonso paces Mets with five RBI
Pete Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in the Mets’ 11-6 win over the Padres on Sunday.

Advice: Alonso needed a game like this after a rough few weeks. The five RBI matched his total for the entire month of June entering play Sunday and ninth time in his career he’s driven in at least five runs in a single game. The Mets seem to finally be comfortable with their new lineup configuration with Alonso hitting clean-up behind Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and J.D. Martinez so there will likely be many more opportunities for him to drive in runs. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:15 pm
