    Advice: Taveras bopped his first home run of the season, a two-run shot as part of the Rangers' three-run eighth inning that put the game out of reach. He's been a streaky hitter since emerging as the everyday center fielder, but Taveras hasn't done much streaking yet in 2024.     Machado went 1-for-5 with a three-run double in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Reds.

    Advice: Machado stepped up to the plate in the fifth with the bases juiced and cleared them all with a double to center field. That was his first extra-base hit since April 14 and his first multi-RBI game since April 12. He's tallied a hit in four of his five games since being reinstated from the paternity list and is now slashing .250/.304/.388 with four homers, 16 RBI, 16 runs and a 9:29 BB:K in 125 plate appearances.     Tatis went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, a steal, an RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Reds.

    Advice: Tatis also reached base once more via a hit by pitch and stole his first bag since April 16. Coming into Tuesday, his numbers at the dish have been misleading. He was just 5-for-40 over his last 10 games but posted a 72.4 percent hard hit rate and averaged an exit velocity of 96.9 miles per hour. He's experiencing some bad luck at the moment, which should turn around sooner than later.     Orioles 2B/SS prospect Jackson Holliday went 3-for-6 with an RBI on Tuesday for Triple-A Norfolk.

    Advice: Holliday flopped in his first taste of the big leagues as Baltimore continued to challenge him from a development standpoint. However, that shouldn’t diminish fantasy managers’ long-term optimism. The latest multi-hit effort raises his Triple-A slash line to .321/.451/.554 with nine extra-base hits and one steal through 13 contests. He’ll get some extended time in the minors to continue ironing out contact issues and struggles against left-handed pitching, but it’s only a matter of time before he gets another shot in Baltimore.     Walker went 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Dodgers.

    Advice: Walker bookended the Diamondbacks' scoring with a solo home run in the fourth inning then a two-run, walk-off job in the bottom of the 10th. He closed out the month on a roll, going 10-for-24 (.417) with four homers and nine RBI over the final seven games.   • Notches stolen base Tuesday
    Rojas went 1-for-1 with three walks, a steal and a run scored in Tuesday's win over Atlanta.

    Advice: Rojas reached base each time he stepped up to the plate and came around to score on a two-run homer by Jorge Polanco in the third. It was just the second time this season he's drawn multiple walks in a game. He's now led off in all four of his starts since J.P. Crawford (oblique) was placed on the IL last week and has managed two homers, four runs, a steal and a 4:1 BB:K in 16 plate appearances thus far.
