    • Converts 16th save
Doval allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Thursday's 4-2 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Doval has converted his first two save chances in July after a tumultuous June. He's allowed one run over his last seven innings, converting four of his five save chances in that span. Overall, he's 16-for-19 in saves with a 4.15 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 46:22 K:BB through 34.2 innings, though his status as the Giants' closer hasn't been threatened. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:07 pm
    • Goes seven innings in win
Webb (7-6) allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six over seven innings to earn the win over Atlanta on Thursday.

Advice: Webb gave up both runs on three hits and a sacrifice fly in the first inning, then settled in to produce a strong start by not allowing a runner past second base for the next six frames. He's gone seven innings in six of his last eight starts as he continues to be an innings-eater at the top of the Giants' rotation. For the season, Webb has a 3.09 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 103:27 K:BB over 119.1 innings through 19 starts. The right-hander is projected to make his next start at home versus the Blue Jays. • Quantrill allows two runs in no-decision
Cal Quantrill allowed two runs in five innings and got a no-decision in the Rockies’ 4-3 victory over the Brewers on Thursday.

Advice: Quantrill gave up five hits, walked four and struck out two. He gave up two runs on a two-run single by Andrew Monasterio in the fourth inning. His ERA is 3.77, but with a 4.38 xFIP and 74 strikeouts on the season he’s tough to stream while pitching half of his games at Coors Field let alone roster. The 29-year-old right-hander is set to face the Reds on the road next week.

    • Doval picks up 16th save against Braves Thursday
Camilo Doval tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Braves on Thursday.

Advice: The save was his 16th of the season. Doval recorded two strikeouts and allowed one hit in the ninth inning. He has a 4.15 ERA on the season, but continues to be a reliable source of saves for fantasy managers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:00 pm
    • Webb allows two runs in win over Braves Thursday
Logan Webb allowed two runs in seven innings and got the win in the Giants’ 4-2 victory over the Braves on Thursday.

Advice: Webb gave up seven hits, walked one and struck out six. The win was his seventh of the year. Webb gave up an RBI double to Ozzie Albies in the first inning and Albies later scored on an Austin Riley sacrifice fly to make it 2-0 Braves. Then he held Atlanta scoreless for the next six innings. Webb has gone seven innings and allowed two runs in four of his last six starts. He’s been one of the most consistent pitchers in fantasy this year and has a 3.09 ERA. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Blue Jays at home next week.

    • Greg Weissert picks up save against Marlins
Greg Weissert allowed an unearned run while picking up a save against the Marlins on Thursday.

Advice: The run was the “zombie” runner that starts at second base to begin every inning after the ninth. That’s the first save of the season for Weissert, and being blunt, it’s very likely the last. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:49 pm
    • Kyle Tyler gives up two runs in no-decision vs. BOS
Kyle Tyler gave up two runs in 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Red Sox on Thursday.

Advice: Tyler gave up just three hits throughout the contest, and he walked two while fanning three. The right-hander gave up a run on a fielder’s choice in the first by Rafael Devers, and Devers grounded out again for a run in the sixth; this time after Tyler had left the game. The results have been fine for the 27-year-old since joining the Miami rotation, but there appears to be some smoke and mirrors to it without much swing-and-miss. It’d be a mistake to trust him as an option against the Astros next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:49 pm

    • Pivetta takes no hitter into seventh vs. Marlins
Nick Pivetta struck out 10 while allowing just one hit over seven scoreless innings, but he didn’t pick up a decision against the Marlins on Thursday.

Advice: Pivetta took a no-no into the seventh inning, but he gave up his first hit with two outs in that frame on a triple to Jesus Sanchez. It was a dominating effort for the 31-year-old, and nice to see after a run of mediocre starts for the right-hander. It certainly helped that he was facing a well-below-average lineup in Miami, but Pivetta’s stuff would’ve beaten most Thursday. Unfortunately, the bullpen didn’t get the job done. Pivetta gets another favorable matchup on paper next week against the A’s. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:49 pm
    • Twins option prospect David Festa back to minors
Twins optioned RHP David Festa to Triple-A St. Paul.

Advice: Festa heads back to the minors after allowing a whopping 12 runs on 16 hits with an 8/1 K/BB ratio across 10 innings in a pair of starts after being called up. The 24-year-old top pitching prospect will head back to Triple-A for some additional seasoning, but he’s certainly talented enough to make a tangible impact for fantasy managers at some point in the near future.
