      Advice: Flores has been slumping at the plate lately, going just 2-for-19 with three RBI in his last six games. He'll now be sidelined for at least 10 days due to his knee, and starting first base duties will be given back to LaMonte Wade (hamstring), who was activated off the injured list in a corresponding move.       Angels’ manager Ron Washington told reporters on Friday that Anthony Rendon will face live pitching late next week.

      Advice: The 34-year-old third baseman is nearing the end of his recovery from a torn left hamstring and is closing in on a return to the Angels’ lineup. Prior to landing on the injured list in April, Rendon had been hitting .267/.325/.307 with zero homers, three RBI and three stolen bases through his first 83 plate appearances on the season.
