      Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Padres.

      Advice: With two men on in the first inning, Alonso took Dylan Cease deep for this 15th homer this season. He later added a two-run single as part of a four-run eighth to give him a season-high five RBI for the game. This one had to feel good for Alonso, as he broke out of a small slump where he had only five hits and one RBI over his last eight games.       Pete Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in the Mets’ 11-6 win over the Padres on Sunday.

      Advice: Alonso needed a game like this after a rough few weeks. The five RBI matched his total for the entire month of June entering play Sunday and ninth time in his career he’s driven in at least five runs in a single game. The Mets seem to finally be comfortable with their new lineup configuration with Alonso hitting clean-up behind Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and J.D.       Naylor went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two additional RBI in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Reds.

      Advice: Naylor had an RBI single and drove in another run with a fielder's choice in the contest. While his bat is still quiet in June -- he's gone 5-for-32 (.156) over eight games -- he's still driven in eight RBI this month.       Mark Vientos went 1-for-4 with two RBIs in a loss to the Marlins on Tuesday.

      Advice: Vientos laced an RBI double 98.2 mph down the left-field line for two RBI in the second inning. The 24-year-old continues to operate as the Mets primary starter at third base, for now, and is hitting .320/.381/.587 with 15 RBI on the season.     • Josh Naylor has two hits, HR in win
      Josh Naylor went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

      Advice: Naylor blooped in a 79 mph single in the third inning that scored a run, but he certainly got all of his home run in the eighth inning, hitting it 425 feet at 109 mph for his 17th home run on the season. The .224 batting average might not be what you were looking for but the power and 50 RBIs have been elite for Naylor this season. He may be sacrificing a bit of average for power, but he also came into this game with a .200 BABIP, which is well below his career mark of .283.       Vientos is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

      Advice: Vientos will get a rest day for the first time since May 28. The 23-year-old has gone 11-for-38 with two home runs and six RBI over his last 10 games.
