      Advice: Diaz led off the bottom of the first inning with a solo home run, continuing his excellent run of recent production. He has gone deep three times in his last six starts and also has at least one RBI in seven straight games. Diaz also extended his hitting streak to 18 games, during which he's hit .358.     • Allows four runs in loss
      Castillo (6-9) took the loss against the Rays on Tuesday, allowing four runs on five hits and four walks with four strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

      Advice: Castillo surrendered a leadoff home run to Yandy Diaz in the first inning and an RBI single to Jose Siri in the second. He responded with three scoreless frames but was pulled after walking two batters in the sixth. Both baserunners scored, resulting in the third time Castillo has yielded at least four earned runs in June.       Yankees manager Aaron Boone said after Tuesday’s game that Gleyber Torres’s failure to run hard to first base in the eighth was a product of his groin issue.

      Advice: Torres left Thursday and missed Friday’s game with the groin problem before returning Saturday.       Luis Castillo allowed four runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

      Advice: The Mariners ace struck out four and walked four on the day. He wasn’t sharp, with just a 44 percent zone rate on the day, but he had kept it together until the sixth inning. With the game tied at two, Castillo got one quick out but walked the next two hitters and was chased from the game. Michael Baumann then allowed a triple and a home run to bring in both inherited runners. Castillo had nine whiffs on 44 swings for a 20 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW on the day. We can probably chalk this up to a poor start, but it’s his second straight one so we’d like to see him right the ship next time out. The only problem is that the start comes against the Orioles.       Senga (shoulder/triceps) said Tuesday he expects to begin a minor-league rehab assignment next week, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: The right-hander threw a successful live batting practice session Sunday and is scheduled for another Thursday, which could be the final hurdle before he's cleared for minor-league games. Senga will need multiple rehab starts to build up his workload before making his season debut for the Mets, so he likely won't be activated from the 60-day injured list until after the All-Star break.
