Riley (side) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Pirates, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Riley will miss an 11th consecutive start Friday with a left intercostal strain. Despite the lengthy absence, it seems Riley is close to returning after swinging a bat Tuesday. Zack Short will start at third and bat ninth Friday. Rotowire.com 35 minutes ago

    • Riley (side) out for 11th straight game
Austin Riley (side) remained out of the Braves’ lineup for Friday’s game against the Pirates.

Advice: Riley resumed hitting earlier this week and was seen fielding ground balls before Thursday’s game yet he remains out for the 11th consecutive game despite incomprehensibly not being placed on the injured list. It’s unclear when the third baseman will return to Atlanta’s lineup, but it should be soon. Rotoworld 36 minutes ago

    • Marte back in the lineup on Friday
Starling Marte is back in the Mets’ lineup for Friday’s game against the Giants.

Advice: Marte had the day off when the Mets last played on Wednesday against the Guardians, but came off the bench to pinch hit. He’s back in the lineup batting sixth on Friday. Marte is hitting .260 with five home runs and eight steals in 177 at-bats for New York this year. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago

    • Slugs 12th homer
Stanton went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Thursday's 5-0 win against Seattle.

Advice: Stanton crushed a 445-foot solo shot to center field in the second inning to plate the first run of the contest. The homer was his 12th of the campaign, half of which have come over his past 14 contests. Over that span, Stanton is slashing .288/.327/.673 with nine RBI and seven runs in addition to the six homers. Rotowire.com 41 minutes ago
    • Rutschman knocks in three Thursday
Adley Rutschman went 2-for-5 with 3 RBI against the White Sox on Thursday.

Advice: Rutschman had an RBI single in the third inning to tie the game and a two-run single in the sixth inning to put the Orioles up 7-2. He’s putting together another nice season with a .299 average and 31 RBI on the year.

    • Notches 10th steal
Doyle went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Thursday's 10-9 extra-innings loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Doyle went 6-for-30 (.200) with no multi-hit efforts over his previous nine games. In that span, he also had four steals and a 9:12 BB:K as he continues to get on base at a healthy clip despite a 28.6 percent strikeout rate for the year. The outfielder is slashing .273/.339/.442 with five home runs, 10 steals, 10 doubles, 15 RBI and 30 runs scored over 47 contests this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:40 pm

    • Locks down 12th save
Iglesias struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Iglesias has converted his last four save chances since a blown save May 3 versus the Dodgers. He's allowed two runs on five hits and two walks over his last six innings, so it hasn't been the smoothest of stretches for the veteran closer. On the year, he's 12-for-14 in save chances with a 2.33 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 14:5 K:BB over 19.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:13 pm

Brenton Doyle went 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored, two RBI and a stolen base against the Athletics on Thursday.

Advice: Doyle had an RBI double in the first inning to give the Rockies a 2-0 lead. He added an RBI single in the 11th inning to make it 7-5 Rockies. The stolen base was Doyle’s 10th of the season. He’s up to .273 with a .781 OPS on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:06 pm

    • Goes seven innings in win
Wheeler (6-3) earned the win Thursday over the Rangers, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks over seven innings. He struck out five.

Advice: After Adolis Garcia led off the second inning with a home run, Wheeler held the Rangers off the board until Ezequiel Duran's two-out RBI single in the seventh. It's the sixth win in Wheeler's last seven starts, and he's pitched at least seven innings in back-to-back outings and three of his last four. His ERA sits at 2.53 on the season with a 0.98 WHIP and 76:21 K:BB in 67.2 innings. Wheeler is currently lined up for a road matchup with the Giants in his next start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:57 pm
