    • Eduardo Rodriguez (lat) undergoes additional tests
Eduardo Rodriguez will undergo additional testing on his injured lat during the upcoming week.

Advice: The Diamondbacks are hopeful that if all goes well, he’ll be able to begin a throwing program. The team has already said that he’s unlikely to make his debut before June, and even the end of June seems optimistic with the way that this has played out so far. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago
    • Nick Lodolo struggles in start vs Orioles
Nick Lodolo allowed four runs on four hits in five innings in a loss to the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: It wasn’t all bad for Lodolo, who struck out six and walked two while posting a 30 percent whiff rate and 31 percent CSW. Lodolo struggled out of the gates, allowing three runs on three hits in the first inning before settling down. The lefty now has a 2.79 ERA and should certainly be started next week against the Giants. Rotoworld Today, 5:46 pm

    • Max Fried allows four runs in loss to Dodgers
Max Fried allowed four runs on four hits in seven innings in a loss to the Dodgers on Sunday.

Advice: Fried pitched well enough on the day, striking out seven and walking three while posting a 20 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW. He didn’t have his best command and had a zone rate under 50 percent on the day, but he avoided major damage until giving up a two-run home run to Teoscar Hernandez in the sixth inning. He should bounce back next weekend against the Mets Rotoworld Today, 5:19 pm

    • Runs wild against Mets
Caballero went 0-for-2 with three walks, three runs scored and four stolen bases during Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Mets.

Advice: Despite not tallying a hit, Caballero was all over the basepath, reaching thrice via walk and becoming the third player since 2020 to accumulate four steals in a game. One of those swipes came in the 10th inning when he stole third after starting the inning as the designated runner then scored on a walk-off triple by Jonny DeLuca. Caballero ranks third in MLB with 13 steals this season and holds a .317 on-base percentage. Rotowire.com Today, 5:06 pm

    • Jose Caballero steals four bases with no hits
Jose Caballero stole four bases and scored three runs without recording a hit Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Only against the Mets. Caballero walked three times today and also got a steal as the automatic runner in the 10th inning. He’s just the second player this millennium to steal four bases without getting a hit; Everth Cabrera did so for the Padres in 2012. Caballero leads the AL with 13 steals in 18 tries this season. • Could resume throwing soon
Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Sunday that Rodriguez (shoulder) will undergo an MRI this week to check his recovery progress, after which he could be cleared to resume a throwing program, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republicreports.

Advice: The left-hander was shut down from throwing in mid-April after he experienced renewed tightness in his shoulder, but Lovullo said the left-hander has recently been "feeling good." Rodriguez will require a lengthy build-up period before embarking on a minor-league rehab assignment, so he's likely at least a month away from making his season debut. Rotowire.com Today, 2:15 pm
    • X-rays return negative
Pepiot had X-rays come back negative and was diagnosed with a bruised lower left leg after exiting Sunday's start against the Mets, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sunreports.

Advice: The 26-year-old appears to have avoided a serious injury after being struck in the leg by a 107-mph comebacker, which prompted his exit during the third inning Sunday. Pepiot could remain on turn to pitch against the Yankees next weekend if he bounces back well from the injury over the next few days. Rotowire.com Today, 12:20 pm

    • Idle against lefty
O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Advice: The lefty-hitting O'Hearn finds himself on the bench for the second day in a row while Cincinnati brings another southpaw (Nick Lodolo) to the hill. O'Hearn's absence will allow the Orioles to give infielder Gunnar Henderson a day off playing defense, as the third-year player instead serves as Baltimore's designated hitter. • Ryan Pepiot day-to-day with left leg contusion
Ryan Pepiot is day-to-day after leaving Sunday’s start against the Mets with a left leg contusion.

Advice: Pepiot has already undergone imaging, and x-rays came back negative for the right-hander. He was struck in the leg by a pitch that was 107 mph, and while he attempted to stay in the game, Rays manager Kevin Cash wasn’t going to take any risks. There’s a good chance Pepiot could make his next scheduled start, but fantasy managers will want to keep a close eye. Rotoworld Today, 12:04 pm
