Marte went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Monday's 8-7 win over Washington.

Advice: Marte has been on a heater, recording multiple hits four times in his past five games. During that span, the 35-year-old is batting .473 (9-for-19) with four RBI, two steals and three runs scored. Marte is now up to a .275 batting average on the season with six home runs, 23 RBI, 30 runs scored and 10 steals in 224 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:36 pm

    • Gorman blasts two home runs Monday
Nolan Gorman went 2-for-3 with a walk and two solo home runs against the Astros on Monday.

Advice: The two home runs give Gorman 13 on the season. He’s now hit three home runs in his last two games. Gorman isn’t going to provide a good average. He’s hitting .230 and his career average is .230. Gorman can hit the stuffing out of the ball, though. He had 27 home runs in 119 games last year and is on pace to push for 30 home runs this year. • Hader picks up ninth save Monday
Josh Hader threw a scoreless inning to get a save against the Cardinals on Monday.

Advice: Hader’s save was his ninth of the season. He struck out one in a perfect inning of work. Hader had a 6.14 ERA in his first 15 appearances, but has since allowed only one run in his last 11 appearances with 21 strikeouts and only three walks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:17 pm
    • Seven strong innings in win
Wheeler (7-3) earned the win Monday against Milwaukee, allowing one earned run on five hits and three walks over seven innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Wheeler nearly pitched seven shutout innings, but he surrendered a solo home run to former teammate Rhys Hoskins with two outs in the seventh inning. Wheeler turned in his fourth consecutive quality start Monday, bringing his season total to 10. Wheeler has pitched to a 2.23 ERA and 0.97 WHIP with 91 strikeouts in 80.2 innings this season, all of which rank top 10 in the league. He will look to keep rolling in his next start, tentatively scheduled for next Tuesday in Boston. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:10 pm
    • Starling Marte posts three hits, steal in victory
Starling Marte went 3-for-5 with a stolen base on Monday in the Mets’ win over the Nationals.

Advice: Marte tallied three singles and also picked up his 10th theft of the season during Monday’s slugfest at Nationals Park. The 35-year-old veteran outfielder is in the midst of an unexpected late-career resurgence as he appears healthy and is really starting to hit his stride at the dish of late, slashing .357/.413/.571 with two homers and two steals over his last 15 games. • Tylor Megill allows five runs in win over Nationals
Tylor Megill was charged with five runs (four earned) over five innings on Monday in a win over the Nationals.

Advice: Megill wasn’t particularly sharp on Monday night at Nationals Park, surrendering seven hits, including a two-run homer to Joey Gallo. Fortunately he didn’t have to be at his best in this one as his Washington counterpart, MacKenzie Gore, turned in his worst outing of the season to date. The 28-year-old righty was unable to get the Nationals to chase in this one as he generated only six swinging strikes and finished with a lackluster 23 percent CSW. He notched four strikeouts and also handed out a trio of free passes. He’ll bring a respectable 3.00 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 24/9 K/BB ratio across 21 innings (four starts) into a favorable home outing next Tuesday against the Marlins. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:07 pm
    • Zack Wheeler tosses seven innings to beat Brewers
Zack Wheeler yielded one run over seven innings on Monday in a win over the Brewers.

Advice: Wheeler carried a shutout bid into the seventh inning before coughing up a solo shot to former teammate Rhys Hoskins and wound up requiring a season-high 114 pitches (67 strikes) to navigate seven frames. He finished with six strikeouts and also handed out a trio of free passes. The 34-year-old right-hander has been one of the most consistent upper-echelon fantasy starters in the game for the last few years and hasn’t skipped a beat this season, allowing three earned runs or fewer in 11 of his 13 outings. He’ll carry a sparkling 2.23 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 91/26 K/BB ratio across 80 2/3 innings (13 starts) into a road tilt next Tuesday against the Red Sox at historic Fenway Park. • Delivers key hits Sunday
Gorman went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and a walk in Sunday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Phillies.

Advice: Gorman opened the scoring with a two-run blast in the first inning and also provided the Cardinals with their winning run by adding an RBI single in the 10th. This was his fourth multi-hit effort over the last nine games, a span in which he's gone 11-for-32 (.344) with four homers and 10 RBI. He's up to a .223/.310/.457 slash line, 11 long balls, 28 RBI, 25 runs scored and two stolen bases through 51 contests. Gorman has been a near-everyday player lately, though the Cardinals called up Jose Fermin on Friday for infield depth, which could lead to Gorman sitting out against some southpaws moving forward. • Notches fifth save
Sewald picked up the save Sunday against the Mets, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Sewald has been nigh unhittable lately, allowing just one baserunner over his past six appearances. The 34-year-old veteran has not allowed an earned run since his season debut back on May 7 and he is now a perfect five-for-five in save opportunities with a microscopic 1.08 ERA and 0.48 WHIP in 8.1 innings.
