      Anthony Rizzo smacked an RBI single off of Jason Foley in the ninth inning on Friday night, propelling the Yankees to a 2-1 walk-off victory over the Tigers.

      Advice: The Yankees had come up empty through eight innings against Reese Olson and a host of Tigers’ relievers. They finally got the bats going in the ninth though, as Aaron Judge singled, Alex Verdugo dropped down a bunt single and Giancarlo Stanton smacked an RBI double to start the inning. Rizzo then followed by poking a ball through the drawn in infield to walk it off.       Edman (wrist) is slated to take full swings off a tee Saturday, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Edman recently progressed to hitting from both sides of the dish after being limited to the right side due to his surgically repaired right wrist.       Cardinals’ manager Oli Marmol said Friday that the team continues to proceed cautiously with Tommy Edman (wrist).
