The 27-year-old featured in the Astros' five-run fifth inning, plating Cesar Salazar and Jose Altuve on a three-run shot off Jose Berrios with two outs. Alvarez is 10-for-25 (.400) with eight runs, five walks and one strikeout across his last seven games. Rotowire.com 51 minutes ago

    • Goes yard in loss
Walker went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Walker has an extra-base hit in four of his last six games, though this was his first homer since June 20. The first baseman is up to 18 long balls on the year, with six of them coming over his last 18 games. He's added a .259/.331/.480 slash line with 55 RBI, 50 runs scored and two stolen bases over 85 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:30 pm
    • Christian Walker goes deep in loss to Dodgers
Christian Walker went 2-for-5 and slugged a two-run homer on Tuesday night as the Diamondbacks fell to the Dodgers in Los Angeles.

Advice: The 33-year-old slugger evened the score at 2-2 when he clobbered a 402-foot (107.1 mph EV) two-run shot off of Bobby Miller in the fourth inning. He also added a two-out single off of Alex Vesia in the seventh inning. Walker is enjoying another strong season in the middle of the Diamondbacks’ lineup, slashing .259/.331/.480 with 18 homers, 55 RBI and two stolen bases (in four attempts). • Grayson Rodriguez strikes out 8 in win over M’s
Grayson Rodriguez was exceptional in Tuesday night’s victory over the Mariners, racking up eight strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball.

Advice: The 24-year-old budding superstar scattered just two hits and four walks on the evening. Only once did the Mariners advance a runner past second base on Rodriguez in this one, and that came with two outs in the sixth inning before Rodriguez punched out Cal Raleigh to end the threat. He generated a whopping 19 swings and misses on 104 pitches on the night, posting a strong CSW of 32 percent. Now 10-3 on the season, Rodriguez will carry a 3.45 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and a 97/29 K/BB ratio (88 2/3 innings) into battle against the Athletics in Oakland on Sunday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:23 pm
    • Earns 10th win
Rodriguez (10-3) allowed two hits and four walks while striking out eight over 6.1 scoreless innings to earn the win over the Mariners on Tuesday.

Advice: This was just the second time in his last seven starts that Rodriguez walked multiple batters, but that was virtually the only flaw in his performance Tuesday. It was also his third scoreless outing of the year. Rodriguez is now at a 3.45 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 97:29 K:BB through 88.2 innings over 15 starts. The right-hander is tentatively projected for a home start versus the Cubs for his next appearance if the Orioles go to a six-man rotation, though he could move up to pitch on regular rest at Oakland on Sunday if Baltimore elects to work with five starters. • Christian Yelich collects three hits in victory
Christian Yelich went 3-for-5 with a double as the Brewers eked out a one-run victory over the Rockies on Tuesday night at Coors Field.

Advice: Yelich smacked a one-out double off of Ryan Feltner in the third inning, but the Brewers couldn’t cash him in. He then singled in the fifth inning but was picked off of first base. Yelich also singled during the team’s two-run rally in the ninth inning. With his three-hit attack, the 32-year-old outfielder is now hitting .329/.403/.500 with eight homers, 36 RBI and 19 swipes on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:14 pm
    • Yordan Alvarez has two hits, three RBI in loss
Yordan Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a loss to the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: The home run was a 390-foot shot off Jose Berrios for Alvarez’s 18th home run on the season to go along with 46 RBI. He has battled some injuries during the year but remains one of the most consistent hitters in fantasy baseball. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:51 pm

    • Austin Riley homers again in loss to Giants
Austin Riley went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s loss to the Giants.

Advice: Riley got the scoring started for the Braves in the second inning when he took Hayden Birdsong 415 feet to left for a solo homer. The home run was Riley’s 10th blast of the season and his third in his last 10 games. The veteran third baseman has gotten off to a slow start this season after three straight 30-plus homer seasons but has now hit safely in six of his last eight games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:24 pm
    • CJ Abrams has two hits in loss
CJ Abrams went 2-for-5 and was caught stealing in a loss to the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Abrams has now been caught stealing 10 times on the season, which is an incredibly high total that may prompt the Nationals to work on him being less aggressive on the basepaths. The rest of Abrams’ profile is very fantasy-friendly. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:09 pm
