      Advice: The 30-year-old right-hander is expected to rejoin the Rays’ rotation this week, perhaps on Wednesday against the Marlins in Miami.       Advice: Sunday's session was Eflin's second bullpen in the last four days. He threw two simulated innings and came away feeling good.       Bryson Stott drove in a pair of runs and swiped two bases as the Phillies fell to the Cardinals in 10 innings on Sunday night.

      Advice: Stott drew a walk off of Lance Lynn in the opening inning and swiped second base, but the Phillies were unable to cash him in. He then tied the game up and chased Lynn with a two-run single in the fifth inning. Stott then deftly nabbed second base again, but the Phillies once again couldn’t score him.     • Blake Snell (groin) expected to land on 15-day IL
      Giants’ manager Bob Melvin told reporters after Sunday’s loss to the Yankees that Blake Snell is expected to land on the 15-day injured list after re-injuring his groin.

      Advice: Melvin noted that Snell will undergo an MRI exam on Monday to determine the extent of the damage, but it sounds like he’s going to be shelved for a while. Snell dealt with a similar injury near the end of April and wound up missing a month’s worth of action. The 31-year-old left-hander has been an unmitigated disaster for the Giants and for fantasy managers, going 0-3 with a 9.51 ERA and 1.94 WHIP over 23 2/3 innings in six starts on the season.
