Burleson went 2-for-4 with two RBI singles, a run scored and two stolen bases during Sunday's 5-3 win over the Giants.

Advice: Burleson generated multiple hits for the third consecutive contest, building on a two-homer effort Saturday with a pair of RBI on Sunday. After stealing just two bases in his first 67 games, Burleson has swiped three in the past two contests and took second base on both of his hits. The outfielder is 24-for-83 (.289) in June and ranks in the top 10 in MLB in both runs scored and homers during the month. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:49 pm
    • David Fry (elbow) considered day-to-day
David Fry is considered day-to-day after exiting Sunday’s game against the Blue Jays with inflammation in his right elbow.

Advice: It sounds like it’s just a minor issue and the 28-year-old slugger won’t require a trip to the injured list. While his pace has cooled over the last few weeks, Fry has still been a force in the middle of the Guardians’ lineup this season — slashing .312/.429/.526 with eight homers, 31 RBI and four stolen bases in only 189 plate appearances. • Fernando Tatis Jr. was available off bench Sunday
Padres’ manager Mike Shildt told reporters after Sunday’s loss to the Brewers that Fernando Tatis Jr. (triceps, quad) was available off the bench.

Advice: The Padres were simply waiting for the right opportunity to present itself on Sunday, unfortunately it never did. It’s good news for the superstar outfielder’s availability going forward though, as he should return to the Padres’ starting lineup early in the week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:45 pm

    • Labors in rehab start
Snell (groin) made a rehab start Sunday with Triple-A Sacramento, allowing two runs on three hits and three walks while failing to strike out a batter across 1.2 innings.

Advice: Snell wasn't particularly effective in the first start of his rehab assignment, throwing just 27 of his 51 pitches for strikes in a 5-4 win over Round Rock. Following the contest, the left-hander said he anticipates needing at least one more rehab appearance, if not more, stating that he wants to be "healthy and 100 percent" before he returns from the 15-day injured list, according to Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle. Snell had been limited to just six starts in his first season with the Giants before landing on the 15-day injured list June 3 with a left groin strain. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:15 pm

    • Alec Burleson has two hits, two SB in win
Alec Burleson went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two steals in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Burleson had an RBI single in the first inning and then another RBI single in the second to give him 32 RBI on the season. The two swipes also gave him five on the year to go along with a .385/.319/.469 slash line. He hits near the top of the lineup pretty much every day and needs to be rostered in more leagues. • Pete Fairbanks perfect in earning 11th save
Pete Fairbanks notched his 11th save with a scoreless ninth versus the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: Fairbanks struck out one while protecting a two-run lead. The closer had allowed single runs in three of his previous four appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:14 pm
    • Blake Snell chased in second inning of rehab start
Blake Snell (groin) struggled in his first minor league rehab start at Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, giving up two runs on three hits and three walks over just 1 2/3 innings.

Advice: None of the five outs that the 31-year-old southpaw did record came via the strikeout. Snell threw 51 pitches in contest, 27 of those for strikes. The expectation was always that Snell would require at least two rehab starts before he was ready to return, and given his struggles on Sunday it’s likely that they’ll want to see better before they bring him back. • Picks up 11th save
Fairbanks tossed a perfect ninth inning, striking out one to collect a save Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: Fairbanks needed only 11 pitches to close the door on his 11th save. Fairbanks had allowed a run to score in three of his previous four appearances, with Sunday marking the first time in seven appearances he did not allow a baserunner. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:05 pm
    • Battling elbow inflammation
Fry was removed from Sunday's game against Toronto due to right elbow inflammation, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Fry ripped an RBI single during the first inning of Sunday's contest before being replaced behind the plate by Bo Naylor in the third. The Guardians are currently viewing Fry as day-to-day, though he will likely undergo further testing to determine the extent of his injury. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:16 pm
