    • Allows three runs in loss
Ashcraft (3-3) was tagged with the loss against the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing three runs on three hits and three walks over five innings while striking out five.

Advice: Ashcraft retired nine of the first 10 batters he faced in the contest but struggled with his command throughout, needing 44 pitches to get through the first two innings. The Dodgers would finally get to him in the fourth after the right-hander walked two of the first three batters to open the frame, eventually leading to two runs coming home for Los Angeles. It marked the third consecutive start in which Ashcraft has allowed three runs and the third time in a row that he's failed to make it through six innings. Additionally, he's now walked three batters in three straight outings and hasn't won a start since April 20 against the Angels (span of five starts). Rotowire.com Today, 6:26 am
    • Triples twice, drives in four
Perez went 2-for-4 with two triples, a run scored and four RBI in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Perez batted third and continued his strong start to the season, as he boosted his batting average to an even .300 and his OPS to .906. The versatile 24-year-old has settled in as the team's primary center fielder with Parker Meadows demoted to the minors. Perez should hold onto fantasy value as long as he's seeing regular playing time and swinging a hot bat. Rotowire.com Today, 5:49 am

    • Graham Ashcraft gives up three runs in loss to Dodgers
Graham Ashcraft allowed three runs over five innings on Saturday in a loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Ashcraft did his part in this one, managing to keep Los Angeles’ star-studded lineup in the yard, but didn’t get any run support at all from Cincinnati’s red-hot offense. He struck out five and also handed out three free passes. The 26-year-old righty will bring a serviceable 4.25 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 40/18 K/BB ratio across 48 2/3 innings (10 starts) into a rematch against the Dodgers on Friday at Great American Ball Park. • Still waiting on rehab assignment
Garcia (elbow) threw 20 pitches in a bullpen session Saturday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Garcia has been throwing bullpen sessions since April but is purposefully being brought along slowly by the Astros. He'll require a lengthy rehab stint and will remain sidelined until at least halfway through the regular season. Rotowire.com Today, 12:19 am

    • Nearing return
Jones (back) is expected to be recalled from his rehab assignment following Sunday's game with Triple-A Albuquerque, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Jones has appeared in three games with Albuquerque, starting twice in left field and once at designated hitter. He's lined up for a fourth appearance Sunday and will rejoin the big-league club as it travels to Oakland. Assuming all goes according to plan, it appears that Jones will be activated for the first game of the series Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:43 pm

    • Quality start Saturday
Urena allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out three over six innings in a no-decision versus the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Urena has allowed five runs (four earned) over 17.2 innings across his three starts, though he has just one win to show for it in that span. The lone run on his ledger Saturday came from a Taylor Ward solo home run. Urena now has a 3.29 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 24:13 K:BB over 38.1 innings across 13 appearances (three starts) this season. Dane Dunning (shoulder) and Nathan Eovaldi (groin) both resumed mound work this week as part of their injury rehab, so Urena seems likely to get another start, which is projected to be a tough road outing in Philadelphia. • Belts big three-run blast
Contreras went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Saturday in a 4-2 victory versus Houston.

Advice: Contreras provided the biggest hit of the game with a three-run, fourth-inning homer that broke a 1-1 tie and sent Justin Verlander to the showers. The long ball was the backstop's second in his past three games and extended his current on-base streak to 25 contests. During that stretch, Contreras is batting .347 with three homers, 17 RBI, 22 runs, two stolen bases and a 14:16 BB:K. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:46 pm
    • Comes away with no-decision
Crawford allowed a run on six hits and two walks while striking out five over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: Nolan Gorman's second-inning solo shot was the only run on Crawford's line, but he was an out short of a quality start. It was still a good showing from the 28-year-old, who allowed a season-high four earned runs in his previous start versus the Rays. Crawford has given up one run or fewer in six of his 10 starts this season, pitching to a 2.17 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 57:18 K:BB over 58 innings this season. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Brewers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:38 pm
    • Registers sixth save
Megill earned a save against the Astros on Saturday, allowing one hit and striking out three baters over one inning.

Advice: Megill gave up a two-out single to Jake Meyers but was otherwise dominant, recording all three of his outs via strikeout. He threw 12 of 16 pitches for strikes and recorded his fifth save over five appearances in March. Megill appears to be locked in as Milwaukee's closer, as no other Brewer has notched a save this month. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:33 pm
