• Shohei Ohtani homers twice in Dodgers’ win
Shohei Ohtani launched his 18th and 19th homers of the year Sunday off the Royals’ Brady Singer in a 3-0 win.

Advice: The Dodgers’ other run came on the second of back-to-back homers from Freddie Freeman in the sixth. Ohtani’s first homer today was crushed 451 feet to center. Ohtani had been slumping some of late, having come in at .216/.310/.412 in June. He’s still fifth in the majors in OPS (.976), sixth in average (.309), fourth in homers and tied for fifth in runs scored (53). Rotoworld Today, 3:46 pm

  • Montas allows three in no-decision Sunday
Frankie Montas allowed three runs in five innings and got a no-decision against the Brewers on Sunday.

Advice: Montas gave up four hits, walked three and struck out five. He’s won only one of his last 11 starts and has only three quality starts in 13 starts this year. Three years removed from a season with 207 strikeouts and a 3.37 ERA, Montas is just about off the fantasy radar at this point. The 31-year-old right-hander is set to face the Red Sox at home next week.

  • Rea picks up sixth win against Reds Sunday
Colin Rea allowed three runs (two earned) in six innings and got the win in the Brewers’ 5-4 victory over the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Rea gave up four hits, walked one and struck out six. The win was his sixth of the year and he’s now won two starts in a row. Rea made two errors on pickoff throws, which contributed to one of his runs allowed being unearned. Despite his success this year, nothing has really changed from his profile last year when he had a 4.55 ERA for Milwaukee. The 33-year-old right-hander is set to face the Padres on the road next week.

  • Ober allows one run in win over Athletics Sunday
Bailey Ober allowed one run in 6 1/3 innings and got the win in the Twins’ 6-2 victory over the Athletics on Sunday.

Advice: Ober gave up six hits, walked two and struck out eight. The win was his sixth of the year. The lone run off of Ober came on a Daz Cameron home run in the seventh inning. Home runs have been a problem for him this season. Ober has allowed 1.48 HR/9, which has been a contributing factor as to why his ERA is 4.81 despite a 4.04 xFIP. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Athletics on the road next week.

  • Zach Eflin strikes out seven in no-decision
Zach Eflin allowed three earned runs in 5 2/3 innings on Sunday against the Braves. He allowed seven hits while walking one and striking out seven.

Advice: Eflin continues to flash the brilliance he showed last season while faltering in key moments. He cruised through five innings after a lead-off home run by Jarred Kelenic but unraveled with two outs in the sixth. It’s frustrating to see him fall one out shy of the quality start while the bullpen blew his win despite objectively pitching well against Atlanta. His ERA sits at 4.12 on the season. • Shut down with lat injury
The Dodgers placed Grove on the 15-day injured list Sunday with a right lat injury, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Advice: Grove presumably sustained the injury during his two-inning relief appearance in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Royals. He gave up a run in the outing for a third consecutive appearance and now holds a 5.06 ERA over 37.1 innings on the season. Rotowire.com Today, 12:36 pm

  • Michael Grove (lat) heading to injured list
Dodgers placed RHP Michael Grove on the 15-day injured list with a right intercostal strain.

Advice: Grove joins Yoshinobu Yamamoto (triceps) on the injured list prior to Sunday’s finale against the Royals. Grove will be out at least two weeks, but a more firm timetable should be provided in the coming days. Rotoworld Today, 11:54 am

  • Making fourth rehab start Sunday
Silseth (elbow) will make a rehab start for Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: In the third start of his rehab assignment this past Tuesday, Silseth built up to 71 pitches, but he was blitzed for six earned runs on four hits and five walks while lasting just 2.2 innings for Salt Lake. Though Silseth appears to be fully stretched out for a traditional starting role at this point, the Angels will likely want to see him execute better at Triple-A before bringing him back in the rotation. If Silseth can keep the free passes in check Sunday, he could get the green light to return from the 60-day injured list for next weekend's Freeway Series against the Dodgers. • Twins-Athletics game postponed
Ober and the Twins won't play Saturday against the Athletics after the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Ober will now have his start pushed back a day after Saturday's contest was rained out. He'll toe the rubber for one of the games during the team's Father's Day split doubleheader with Oakland on Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:01 am
