Bouchard probably isn’t a long-term starter, but he’s a capable stopgap who, unless March is the only thing at all that mattered, was obviously more deserving of the spot. In 11 games since getting recalled, he’s hit .258/.378/.452. Since he’s just a part-timer — the start today was his first in four games — he’s of little interest in fantasy leagues right now.
