      Mason Miller struck out all three batters he faced Tuesday against the Rockies for his first save of the month.

      Advice: Miller earned eight saves from Apr. 9-30, but the A’s hadn’t had any save situations for him since. Given that he also pitched Sunday, it’s possible he’ll now require Wednesday off.     • Kyle Tucker homers twice to lead Astros
      Kyle Tucker hit his 16th and 17th homers before scoring the winning run in the 10th as the Astros bested the Angels 6-5 on Tuesday.

      Advice: Tucker’s homers couldn’t have been much different. The first was a 340-foot shot to the opposite field that would have a homer in Houston and nowhere else, according to Statcast. The second was a no-doubter that was pulled 407 feet to right. Tucker now leads the majors in homers by one over Gunnar Henderson. His 1.074 OPS puts him behind only Shohei Ohtani.       Munoz picked up the save Tuesday against the Yankees, allowing one hit and one walk over a scoreless inning. He struck out one.

      Garcia went 4-for-5 with two triples, one RBI and three runs scored in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Tigers.

      Advice: Garcia showcased his speed Tuesday with the pair of triples. The third baseman has gone 14-for-39 (.359) during his nine-game hitting streak, and he's added three steals, eight RBI and nine runs scored in that span.       Rafael Devers went 1-for-3 with a run scored in Tuesday’s win over the Rays.

      Advice: Devers’ home run streak officially ends at six games, but he did manage to push his hitting streak to 11 games in the 5-2 win over the Rays. Devers’ lone hit came in the second inning, as he later came around to score on a Vaughn Grissom single. Devers has totaled 13 hits in his last 44 at-bats and is batting .286 on the month.     • Gerrit Cole (elbow) not ruling out June return
      Gerrit Cole (elbow) faced hitters on Tuesday in a 22-pitch live batting practice session.

      Advice: Cole told reporters afterwards that he came out of facing hitters for the first time since landing on the injured list back in spring training without any issues. The 33-year-old fantasy ace added that he wouldn’t rule out a potential return at some point next month.       Cole (elbow) faced live hitters Tuesday and will throw another live session this weekend, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

      Advice: Cole faced hitters for the first time since being shut down with elbow inflammation. He threw about 20 pitches in what's expected to be the first of two or three total live sessions. Cole will be eligible to return from the 60-day injured list before the end of May, but he'll require a multi-start rehab assignment and is still at least a few weeks away from making his season debut, likely at some point in June.       Turner (hamstring) hit on the field and ran at 80 percent effort level Tuesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Turner has ramped up his workouts over the last week and has not reported any soreness in his left hamstring. The Phillies have been encouraged by Turner's progress, but they insist he won't be rushed and have not offered an amendment of the shortstop's initial six-week timetable.       Advice: Turner hasn’t experienced any soreness or setbacks as he steadily ramps up baseball activities in his recovery from a left hamstring strain.
