    • Homers in back-to-back games
Burleson went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Astros.

Advice: This was Burleson's second straight game with a homer after he went 12 contests without one. The 25-year-old is up to seven homers through 51 contests in 2024, one long ball shy of matching his total from 107 games last year. He's added a reliable .271/.299/.429 slash line with 21 RBI, 16 runs scored and two stolen bases over 177 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:41 pm

    • Steer has three-hit game in win Monday
Spencer Steer went 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI against the Rockies on Monday.

Advice: Steer is up to 37 RBI in 58 games this season. He’s only hitting .243, but his .282 BABIP is a little lower than his career .302 BABIP. He should improve in that area and with 11 steals already he’s on pace to blow by his total of 15 steals from last year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:57 pm

    • Cleared for throwing
Gallen (hamstring) will begin a throwing progression Tuesday, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.

Advice: Gallen appears to have his sights set on returning from the injured list when first eligible after being diagnosed with a right hamstring strain Friday. This will be a strong first step toward meeting that goal, and he should be cleared to resume mound work quickly considering he last threw off a mound Thursday. • Logs three hits in loss
Rutschman went 3-for-5 with one RBI in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Rays.

Advice: Rutschman had a brief cold spell a couple of weeks ago, but he's bounced back well. He's hit safely in six straight games, going 9-for-25 (.360) in that span. The catcher is slashing .304/.342/.473 with 10 home runs, 38 RBI, 30 runs scored and one stolen base over 54 contests this season. He was given more regular rest in late May, which may help him stay fresher as the Orioles enter a busy stretch of their schedule. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:51 pm

    • Snaps slump with homer
Burleson went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Phillies.

Advice: Burleson entered Sunday 0-for-17 over his last four games. He ended the drought -- his longest of the season -- with a third-inning blast to put the Cardinals ahead 4-2. Burleson has been forced into a larger role with the Cardinals lacking several starters, including Lars Nootbaar (oblique), who is expected to be out for nearly all of June. Burleson is slashing .273/.302/.418 with six homers, 20 RBI, 15 runs scored and two stolen bases over 50 contests and should have a chance to continue playing on a near-everyday basis for the foreseeable future. • Perfect for save No. 15
Iglesias picked up the save Sunday against Oakland, tossing a perfect inning with no strikeouts.

Advice: Iglesias needed just nine pitches to retire Zack Gelof, Kyle McCann and Max Schuemann in order. The 34-year-old is 15-for-17 on save chances this season and has allowed one hit in his last five innings of work. Overall, Iglesias has the fourth-most saves in the NL and owns a 2.42 ERA through 22.1 innings. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:14 pm
    • Alec Burleson slugs two-run home run in loss
Alec Burleson slugged a two-run homer on Sunday night as the Cardinals rallied late to beat the Phillies in Philadelphia.

Advice: Burleson walloped a 405-foot (105.0 mph EV) two-run shot off of Taijuan Walker in the third inning that gave the Cardinals a 4-2 advantage. That would be his only hit in five at-bats on the evening. For the season, the 25-year-old slugger is slashing .273/.302/.418 to go with six long balls and 20 RBI. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:16 pm

    • Aaron Judge swipes two bases in win over Giants
Aaron Judge singled twice, walked twice and swiped a pair of bases as the Yankees rallied to defeat the Giants on Sunday afternoon in San Francisco.

Advice: Judge singled off of Blake Snell in the opening inning and stole second base, but the Yankees were unable to cash him in. He also drew a walk during the Bombers’ four-run rally in the ninth inning, swiped second base, took third on a throwing error and scored on an RBI double off the bat of Giancarlo Stanton. The 32-year-old slugger is having another outstanding season, slashing a robust .288/.417/.658 with 21 homers, 47 RBI and four stolen bases. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:35 pm

    • Raisel Iglesias earns 15th save
Raisel Iglesias pitched a clean ninth inning on Sunday against the Athletics to earn the save.

Advice: Iglesias grabbed another save, but once again did not strike a batter out. His 18.6 K% entering play Sunday is by far the lowest for any reliever with at least 10 saves and should give some concern moving forward. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:26 pm
