    • Christopher Morel reaches four times in win Sunday
Christopher Morel singled, drove in a run and drew three walks on Sunday afternoon as the Cubs bested the Brewers.

Advice: The hot-hitting 24-year-old third baseman capped off the scoring in the contest with a two-out RBI single off of Janson Junk in the seventh inning. He also walked three times in the ballgame, but the Cubs were never able to cash him in. On the season, he’s now slashing .220/.312/.431 with seven long balls, 21 RBI and three stolen bases through his first 34 games. Rotoworld Today, 2:42 pm

    • Josh Naylor hits eighth homer against Angels
Josh Naylor went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer against the Angels on Sunday.

Advice: That’s eight homers and 26 RBI in 32 games for Naylor. He’s fifth in the AL in both categories (tied for fifth in homers). Maybe he won’t keep up the home run pace, but he should boast exceptional RBI numbers throughout. Rotoworld Today, 1:21 pm

    • X-rays return negative
Pepiot had X-rays come back negative and was diagnosed with a bruised lower left leg after exiting Sunday's start against the Mets, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sunreports.

Advice: The 26-year-old appears to have avoided a serious injury after being struck in the leg by a 107-mph comebacker, which prompted his exit during the third inning Sunday. Pepiot could remain on turn to pitch against the Yankees next weekend if he bounces back well from the injury over the next few days. Rotowire.com Today, 12:20 pm

    • Ryan Pepiot day-to-day with left leg contusion
Ryan Pepiot is day-to-day after leaving Sunday’s start against the Mets with a left leg contusion.

Advice: Pepiot has already undergone imaging, and x-rays came back negative for the right-hander. He was struck in the leg by a pitch that was 107 mph, and while he attempted to stay in the game, Rays manager Kevin Cash wasn’t going to take any risks. There’s a good chance Pepiot could make his next scheduled start, but fantasy managers will want to keep a close eye. Rotoworld Today, 12:04 pm

    • Departs Sunday's start
Pepiot was removed from Sunday's game against the Mets after being struck in the left leg by a comebacker, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sunreports.

Advice: The right-hander was hit by a line drive that came off the bat at 107 mph, which ended his day during the third inning. Pepiot finished with three runs allowed on three hits and a walk over two innings. The specifics of the injury remain unclear, leaving the 26-year-old's availability for his next turn through the rotation up in the air. Rotowire.com Today, 11:51 am

    • Ryan Pepiot leaves Sunday after being hit in leg
Ryan Pepiot left Sunday’s start against the Mets with an apparent injury.

Advice: Pepiot took a liner off his leg on a ball that was hit 107 mph. The right-hander threw after and tried to stay in, but Rays manager Kevin Cash wouldn’t allow it. Pepiot will likely undergo imaging, and his status for his start next week should be updated shortly after. Manuel Rodriguez has taken over on the mound. Rotoworld Today, 11:31 am

    • Another multi-hit performance
Profar went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and two runs scored in Saturday's blowout win over the Diamondbacks. He also stole a base.

Advice: Profar reached on a fielder's choice play in the first before stealing his second base of the season and later kicked off a two-run inning with a leadoff single in the fourth. He would add two more hits on the night, including a two-run homer off Brandon Hughes in the seventh as the Padres ran away with their fourth straight win. The veteran outfielder has now ripped off three or more hits in three of his last four games and has hit safely in nine of his last 10. Over that latter stretch, he has three home runs and eight RBI with 10 runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 6:27 am
    • Available in relief Sunday
Turnbull will be available out of the Phillies' bullpen Sunday versus the Giants, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: It could wind up being a piggyback situation with Taijuan Walker, although manager Rob Thomson didn't explicitly say that would be the case. Turnbull has earned a spot in the Phillies' rotation with a 1.67 ERA and 36:10 K:BB in 32.1 innings, but the team also wants to keep an eye on his workload since he hasn't thrown more than 56.2 innings in a season since 2019. It seems likely that he'll make another start at some point in the not-too-distant future, but it's unclear when that might be. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:29 pm
    • Jurickson Profar has jack and a bag in victory
Jurickson Profar went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and a stolen base on Saturday night as the Padres demolished the Diamondbacks in San Diego.

Advice: Profar didn’t seem to mind being dropped down to the fifth spot in the lineup following the addition of Luis Arraez. He reached on a fielder’s choice and swiped a base in the opening inning but was left stranded at second. He then led off the fourth inning with a single and scored on a ground ball off the bat of Luis Campusano. He also helped to pad the Padres’ lead with a 395-foot (102.0 mph EV) two-run shot off of Brandon Hughes in the seventh inning, making it a 7-0 ballgame. Conventional wisdom says that he’ll eventually crash back to earth, but Profar is on top of the world right now. He’s slashing a robust .347/.435/.542 with five homers, 23 RBI and a pair of stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:07 pm
