    • Goes on paternity leave
The Guardians placed Ramirez on the paternity leave list Saturday.

Advice: Ramirez will likely miss his team's remaining two games this weekend in Toronto before rejoining them for the start of a homestand Tuesday following Monday's scheduled off day. Johnathan Rodriguez is taking Ramirez's roster spot and Daniel Schneemann is getting a start at third base Saturday versus the Blue Jays. Rotowire.com Today, 9:25 am

    • Guardians place José Ramírez on paternity list
Guardians placed 3B José Ramírez on the paternity list.

Advice: Ramírez will miss the remainder of Cleveland’s weekend series in Toronto to be with his wife for the birth of their second child. It’ll be Johnathan Rodriguez coming up to take his active roster spot. The 31-year-old fantasy superstar, who holds a sublime .864 OPS with 18 homers and 11 steals in 291 plate appearances over 66 games this season, should be back from paternity leave early next week. • Taking seat Friday
Freeman is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Freeman is hitting .194 through nine games in June and will sit Friday after starting the previous five games. Daniel Schneemann will start in center field and bat seventh. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:39 pm

    • Records 10th steal in win
Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a double, one RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: With the steal, Ramirez became one of six players in the majors this season to have double-digit thefts and home runs. The third baseman has gone 8-for-27 (.296) with three extra-base hits over seven contests to begin June. Overall, he has 18 homers, 10 steals, 62 RBI, 50 runs scored, 14 doubles, one triple and a .275/.336/.554 slash line through 63 contests. Ramirez's well-rounded skill set has meshed well with a team style that prioritizes getting on base, leading to ample counting stats across the board. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:41 pm

    • Smacks go-ahead homer
Freeman went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run during Sunday's 6-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Freeman stepped into the batter's box in the seventh with the score tied 2-2 and delivered a three-run home run on the first pitch from A.J. Puk. The long ball was his sixth and marked the second time he's driven in three batters in a game this season. Freeman is slashing .222/.319/.374 with 35 runs scored across 231 plate appearances. • José Ramírez has two hits, steal in win over MIA
José Ramírez went 3-for-5 with a run, an RBI, and a steal in a win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Ramírez is now up to 10 steals on the season to go along with 18 home runs as the 31-year-old shows few signs of slowing down. His batting average hasn’t been where we’ve expected, but he’s striking out just 10.5 percent of the time, so the low average has more to do with his low .244 BABIP than any major contact issues. The veteran is still on pace for a season of at least 30 home runs and 20 steals, which keeps him among the elite hitters in fantasy baseball. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:54 pm

    • Tyler Freeman has two hits, HR in win over MIA
Tyler Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a 6-3 win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Freeman was hitting second in the order with a left-hander on the mound, which is a nice boost to his fantasy value since he had moved down in the order with both Steven Kwan and Andres Gimenez back. Freeman has just 27 RBI on the season, so being able to stay up in the order in some starts will help his counting stats. He also now has six home runs and eight RBI in his first season as a starter and if his .234 BABIP improves, he could be a .250 hitter moving forward as well. That’s a worthy profile in deeper formats. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:51 pm

    • José Ramírez hits 19th homer of season in victory
José Ramírez hit a solo homer to help the Guardians to a win over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: J-Ram is already up to 18 homers on the season, and that puts him well above a 40-homer pace. The switch-hitting infielder has also driven in 61 runs over 63 games, and you don’t have to be a math expert to know that puts him on pace for a rather large number. • Smacks 18th long ball
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Saturday's 8-0 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Ramirez has gone 6-for-22 (.273) with two homers and four RBI over six games in June. The third baseman opened the scoring Saturday with a first-inning solo shot off Miami starter Roddery Munoz. For the year, Ramirez is slashing .272/.335/.553 with 18 homers, 61 RBI, 49 runs scored, nine stolen bases, 13 doubles and a triple over 62 contests. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:25 pm
