    • Recalled by Yankees
The Yankees recalled Peraza from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.

Advice: The move comes with Giancarlo Stanton placed on the 10-day IL due to a left hamstring strain. Peraza began the season on the injured list with a shoulder injury sustained in spring training, and since returning to Triple-A on May 19, he's slashed .178/.313/.215 with one home run and 11 RBI over 107 at-bats. Peraza appeared in 52 games for the Yankees in 2023, slashing .191/.267/.272 with two home runs and 14 RBI over 191 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:16 am

    • Yankees summon Oswald Peraza on Sunday
Yankees recalled INF Oswald Peraza from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Advice: Peraza will be making his season debut for New York when he gets into a game after missing the first couple months of the year due to a shoulder strain that he suffered back in spring training. It’s easy to recall his struggles at the highest level over the last few years as he’s failed to carve out a permanent role for the Yankees, but he’s still just 24 years old. It’s too early to give up completely. Still, fantasy managers can take a wait-and-see approach for now to see if he finally puts it together. Rotoworld Today, 7:09 am

    • Ninth-inning grand slam in loss
Turang went 3-for-4 with a grand slam and a walk in Saturday's loss to the Padres.

Advice: Turang reached base four times in the contest, topping things off with a ninth-inning grand slam to bring Milwaukee back within two runs of the Padres. The grand slam was the second of his career and he's now collected at least one RBI in three consecutive games. Turang has also recorded multiple hits in three straight and is now batting .296 on the campaign with five homers and 31 RBI and 26 stolen bases. Perhaps the only downside is that he's been caught stealing in each of his last three attempts, including twice on Saturday. Rotowire.com Today, 6:36 am

    • Swipes 11th bag
Palacios went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Pirates.

Advice: The 27-year-old began the day on the bench, but when Amed Rosario (face) got hit by a 99.6 mph Jared Jones fastball in the first inning, Palacios entered the lineup and ended up being the only Ray with multiple hits in the game. Brandon Lowe (toe) also went down Saturday and figures to miss some time, so Palacios could move into a full-time role in the short term -- Tampa Bay isn't scheduled to face a left-handed starter until they begin a series against the Nationals next weekend. On the season, Palacios is slashing .237/.332/.333 with four homers, 14 RBI, 31 runs and 11 steals in 64 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 5:58 am
    • Back in startling lineup
Marte started at second base and went 0-for-3 in Saturday's 12-1 loss to Philadelphia.

Advice: Marte hadn't played the field since Wednesday; he served as the designated hitter Thursday then was held out of the starting lineup Friday. All appears to be fine for Marte, who was merely given a two-game respite from playing the field. Rotowire.com Today, 4:13 am
    • Ryan McMahon leads Rockies to victory over Nats
Ryan McMahon went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and a pair of RBI on Saturday, lifting the Rockies to an 8-7 walk-off victory over the Nationals.

Advice: McMahon was at the dish for the conclusion of an instant back-and-forth Coors Field classic which ended in truly bizarre fashion when Nationals reliever Kyle Finnegan committed a pitch clock violation that led to a bases-loaded free pass for McMahon and a walk-off victory for Colorado. The 29-year-old corner infield continued to build his All-Star Game case earlier in this contest by launching a solo homer in the eighth inning to cap off an impressive three-hit effort. He’s batting .280/.354/.486 with 14 homers, 42 RBI and one steal in 286 plate appearances over 75 games so far. Rotoworld Today, 3:23 am

    • Tallies three hits again Saturday
Bliss went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a run and two RBI in a 9-0 victory versus Miami on Saturday.

Advice: Bliss plated a run with a fourth-inning single and wrapped up the scoring in the contest with an RBI double in the eighth. It was the second consecutive three-hit game for the infielder after he went 3-for-3 with an RBI on Friday. Prior to the pair of three-hit contests, Bliss had needed 19 at-bats over nine games to collect his previous three base knocks. While he offers some intriguing upside on the basepaths -- Bliss swiped 28 bags in 50 games at Triple-A prior to his late-May call-up and has four thefts in five attempts over 20 contests in the majors -- it's not clear what role he might have with the Mariners when Jorge Polanco (hamstring) returns from the IL. • Belts two-run blast
Steer went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss to Boston on Saturday.

Advice: Steer gave the Reds an early lead with his two-run shot to left field in the first inning. It was his ninth long ball of the season and his third through 19 contests in June. Steer is slashing .234/.326/.401 with 45 RBI, 33 runs and 12 stolen bases on the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:09 pm

    • Set to join Yankees
The Yankees are expected to recall Peraza from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.

Advice: Peraza is expected to join the Yankees' roster for the first time this season after suffering an injury during spring training and sticking at Triple-A after reinstatement from the injured list. While a corresponding move has yet to be announced, Peraza's call-up could indicate Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) needs an IL stint after exiting Saturday's game. Regardless, Peraza should provide additional infield depth for the Yankees. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:57 pm
