    • Willy Adames goes yard in win over Pirates
Willy Adames went 3-for-5 with a home run, double, two runs scored, and four RBI to lead the Brewers to a 9-0 win over the Pirates on Wednesday.

Advice: Adames had a big day at the plate against the Pirates, starting with a double to put the Brewers on the board in the first inning. He scored on a single by Sal Frelick. Adames led off the fifth with a base hit, then ended his 17-game homer drought with a three-run blast off Ryder Ryan in the eighth. The 28-year-old shortstop is slashing .240/.327/.418 with 14 homers, 49 runs scored, 62 RBI, and 12 steals across 404 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:49 pm
    • Xavier Edwards has two hits in loss to Astros
Xavier Edwards went 2-for-3 with an RBI in Wednesday’s loss to the Astros.

Advice: Edwards had two of the Marlins’ six hits on the night and was responsible for their lone run when he drove in Emmanuel Rivera in the fifth on an RBI single. Edwards has hit safely in seven of his eight games in July while going 10-for-29 at the plate. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:39 pm

    • Tovar tallies two hits as Rockies down Reds
Ezequiel Tovar went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Wednesday’s win over the Reds.

Advice: Tovar had two of the Rockies’ 12 hits on a night where they lit up Reds starter Frankie Montas for eight hits and five earned runs on the night. After getting off to an 0-for-28 start at the plate this month, Tovar has now hit safely in three of his last eight at-bats and is hitting .265 with just days to go before the All-Star break. • Homers in nightcap
Correa went 4-for-7 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's doubleheader against the White Sox.

Advice: After going 3-for-4 in the matinee, Correa launched a solo home run off Drew Thorpe in the nightcap, tying the game,2-2. The 29-year-old shortstop now has at least one hit in 12 of his last 13 games, going 17-for-46 (.370) with five home runs in that span. With his current hot streak, Correa's boosted his slash line to .310/.379/.526 with 13 homers, 47 RBI and 50 runs scored through 312 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 5:07 pm
    • Hitting bench Wednesday
Baez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: After coming off the 10-day injured list Monday, Baez started at shortstop in both of the first two contests of the series, going 1-for-6 with a double between the two contests. Though he's expected to see the bulk of the starts at shortstop now that he's healthy again, Baez will give way Wednesday to utility man Zach McKinstry. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:34 pm

    • Moving to bench for nightcap
Garcia is out of the lineup for the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Cardinals.

Advice: Garcia started at second base in the Royals' 6-4 win in the early game, going 1-for-4 with a run scored. He'll receive a breather for the nightcap while Michael Massey covers the keystone. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:13 pm

    • Returns to bench role
Mastrobuoni is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Mastrobuoni had been included in the lineup in each of the Cubs' last three matchups with right-handed pitchers, but the uptick in playing time looks to have been the result of outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong being unavailable due to a thumb injury. After serving as a pinch runner in Tuesday's 9-2 win, Crow-Armstrong has received the green light to re-enter the starting nine Wednesday for the first time in a week, so Mastrobuoni will head back to the bench. • Slugs 16th homer
Lindor went 3-for-4 with a walk, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The shortstop took Jake Irvin deep for a two-run shot in the sixth inning, giving the Mets a 6-0 lead that the bullpen couldn't quite squander. Lindor is up to 16 homers on the season, including three in the last eight games, and over his last 25 contests he's slashing .311/.379/.592 with 11 doubles, six long balls, seven steals, 17 RBI and 24 runs.
