    • Knocks three hits
De La Cruz went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Friday's win over Cleveland.

Advice: De La Cruz put the Marlins on the board with his solo shot in the third inning and later smacked another extra-base hit. He's gone deep 11 times this season, though just two of those have come in his last 17 contests. He's slashing .252/.306/.427 with 21 extra-base hits and 28 RBI through 268 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com 8 minutes ago

    • Ozuna smacks two doubles in loss Friday
Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two doubles against the Nationals on Friday.

Advice: On a night when the Braves offense had only four hits against Nationals starter Jake Irvin, Ozuna managed to double off Irvin twice. Ozuna is up to .316 on the season and could be in competition with Shohei Ohtani for the triple crown in the National League if he keeps this up. Rotoworld 28 minutes ago

    • Bryan De La Cruz homers, doubles in Marlins’ win
Bryan De La Cruz went 3-for-4 with a homer and a double Friday to lead the Marlins to a 3-2 win over the Guardians.

Advice: De La Cruz’s hits all left his bat at over 102 mph. He’s batting .252/.306/.427 for the season, which is certainly good enough to keep him in the Marlins lineup but isn’t great for someone who has turned out to be a pretty bad left fielder (he’s currently DHing about two-thirds of the time). One imagines he’ll be one of the many Miami players available in trade talks next month. Rotoworld 31 minutes ago

    • Jose Siri smashes sixth home run in loss Friday
Jose Siri went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, a walk and a solo home run against the Orioles on Friday.

Advice: The home run was Siri’s sixth of the year. He’s hitting just .197 on the season and can’t be counted on for batting average. Siri his 25 home runs last year, though. He’s one to keep an eye on if he regains that power stroke this season. Rotoworld 47 minutes ago

    • Two triples in win
Perkins went 3-for-4 with a pair of triples, two RBI and three runs scored in Friday's 10-0 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Perkins extended Milwaukee's lead to 3-0 in the second inning with an RBI triple, the first of his career, before driving in another run with his second three-bagger in the fifth. The 27-year-old Perkins has been swinging the bat well -- he's now 13-for-30 (.433) over his last eight games with five extra-base hits and six RBI. Overall, he's slashing .260./332/.398 across 202 plate appearances this year with five homers, 32 runs scored, 21 RBI and six stolen bases. Rotowire.com 52 minutes ago

    • Santander crushes 13th home run in win Friday
Anthony Santander went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run against the Rays on Friday.

Advice: The home run was Santander’s 13th of the season and came against Rays starter Aaron Civale. While his average is a little lower than he’d like it to be this year at .227, the power is still there for Santander. Rotoworld 54 minutes ago

    • Patrick Wisdom goes hitless as leadoff man
Patrick Wisdom went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts as the Cubs’ leadoff man Friday against the Reds.

Advice: Wisdom had never before led off a game until this season. The Cubs have tried it three times versus southpaws and watched him go 2-for-12 with seven strikeouts and no runs scored. He’s been rather productive the rest of the time, but he hasn’t been able to earn many starts against righties. Rotoworld Today, 6:43 pm

    • Vierling on base twice in loss Friday
Matt Vierling went 1-for-3 with a walk against the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: It was a quiet night for the Tigers offense as they were shutout and managed only two hits. Still, Vierling got on base twice out of the leadoff spot. His average is up to .282 with a .794 OPS on the season. Obviously, he’s not going to put up big time run totals given the state of Detroit’s offense, but he’s been a viable option even in mixed leagues so far this season. Rotoworld Today, 6:41 pm

    • Yelich has three hits in route over Tigers Friday
Christian Yelich went 3-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base against the Tigers on Friday.

Advice: The stolen base was his ninth of the season. Yelich continues to swing a hot bat at the plate as he’s up to .324 on the season with a .934 OPS. The 32-year-old outfielder is in the top 15 in all of baseball in wRC+ (min. 150 plate appearances). Rotoworld Today, 6:38 pm
