      Brandon Pfaadt was pulled from Saturday’s start against the Padres in the fifth inning after taking a 98-mph comebacker off the bat of Luis Arraez off of his left foot/ankle.

      Advice: He’ll presumably head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage. Prior to exiting, Pfaadt had allowed just one run on seven hits while punching out six opposing batters over his 4 1/3 innings of work.       Advice: Luis Arraez hit a 98 mph comebacker at Pfaadt that ended up hitting the 25-year-old pitcher in the left foot/ankle area. Pfaadt allowed one run on seven hits and no walks with six strikeouts over 4.1 innings prior to exiting.
