    • Jesús Luzardo strikes out seven, earns win
Jesús Luzardo completed six innings in the Marlins 8-0 win over the Mets on Friday. He struck out seven, walked none, and allowed seven hits.

Advice: Luzardo has been fantastic since returning from the IL, striking out 15 in 11 ⅔ innings across two starts putting a rough start to the season behind him. However, be advised his fastball averaged just 94.7 MPH Friday. That was his lowest mark in a single start this season and after he’s already spent time on the shelf with elbow tightness. • Surrenders two runs
Jansen (1-1) took the loss Thursday against Tampa Bay, allowing two runs on two hits and one walk with two strikeouts over one inning.

Advice: Jansen took over in the top of the ninth with the game tied but fell to his first loss of the campaign. After striking out Josh Lowe to start off the inning, Jansen yielded a walk, two singles and a sacrifice fly to consecutive batters as the Rays took a 7-5 advantage and the eventual win. The outing raised the 36-year-old's ERA from 2.45 to 3.45. In 15.2 innings of work, Jansen owns a 21:10 K:BB and has yet to allow a home run. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:44 pm
    • Collects fifth save
Kopech walked two and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday to record his fifth save of the season in a 2-0 win over the Nationals.

Advice: After working a scoreless frame in the nightcap of Tuesday's doubleheader in a non-save situation, Kopech was called upon again and labored through 33 pitches (20 strikes) before finally getting the job done. The last time the right-hander pitched on back-to-back days, he got the next four days off, so Kopech could be unavailable at least until the weekend. Through 19 appearances this season, he sports a 3.32 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 29:14 K:BB through 21.2 innings. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 6:10 pm

    • Michael Kopech hangs on Wednesday for fifth save
Michael Kopech tossed a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday against the Nationals to record his fifth save of the season.

Advice: Kopech got the call to guard a two-run advantage in the final frame and managed to work around a pair of walks to secure Chicago’s much-needed victory. The 28-year-old former starter has handed out a few more free passes than fantasy managers would like to see, but he’s adjusted nicely to a high-leverage role this season, converting five of six save chances so far to accompany a solid 3.32 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 29/14 K/BB ratio across 21 2/3 innings (19 appearances). • Survives wild outing
Kopech allowed two walks and struck out one across a scoreless ninth inning in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals.

Advice: Kopech entered the game in the ninth inning with a four-run lead and successfully closed out the game. It was his first appearance since May 9, and he struggled with his control, walking a pair and also throwing a pair of wild pitches. Despite being shaky in this appearance, Kopech has now allowed only one earned across his last 7.1 innings. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:07 am

    • Bounces back with win
Greene (2-2) got the win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out five over seven innings.

Advice: Greene's only blunder of an inning came in the third after he allowed the first two guys on before they came around to score on a base knock from Blaze Alexander. He otherwise kept Arizona quiet and put together an excellent rebound outing after some mixed results against the Diamondbacks last week. Greene has walked at least a batter in every start this season, but his one free pass was significantly better than the nine he'd given up over his last two starts. The 24-year-old flamethrower now owns a 3.27 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 58:22 K:BB in 52.1 innings. He lines up to complete a two-start week against the Dodgers this weekend. • Hunter Greene goes seven to win in Arizona
Hunter Greene lasted seven innings and allowed two runs in the Reds’ 6-2 defeat of the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Advice: Greene walked nine in his previous two starts, but he issued just one free pass tonight. He also went without giving up a homer, though Corbin Carroll’s shot to right to lead off the bottom of the first would have been a homer had the game been played in Cincinnati, rather than Arizona. Greene improved to 2-2 with a 3.27 ERA. In spite of his success, the Reds are just 2-7 in his starts. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:52 pm

    • Stellar against Marlins
Olson did not factor into the decision Tuesday despite allowing just three hits over eight scoreless innings. He struck out six.

Advice: While Olson was spectacular Tuesday, he was matched on the other side by Ryan Weathers, who also delivered eight scoreless frames in an eventual 1-0 Marlins win in 10 innings. Olson has held opponents to one run or fewer in five of his last six starts, including four straight. His ERA is down to 2.09 on the year with a 0.99 WHIP and 41:15 K:BB across 47.1 innings. Still, Olson's been incredibly unlucky to open his sophomore campaign, as he's yet to earn a win through eight starts. He'll look for more support in his next outing, currently scheduled for early next week in Kansas City. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:50 pm
    • Reese Olson stellar in no-decision against Marlins
Reese Olson threw eight shutout innings in a no-decision against the Marlins, allowing three hits and striking out six.

Advice: Olson didn’t walk a batter or allow an extra-base hit all night. His slider was sharp on the night, helping him to a 29 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW overall. The 24-year-old now has a 2.09 ERA on the season with 41 strikeouts and just 15 walks in 47 1/3 innings. He somehow has no wins to show for it, but that should change soon. He gets a solid two-start week next week against the Royals and Blue Jays, and fantasy managers who were lucky enough to scoop him up on waivers should be thanking whoever dropped him (or didn’t draft him) earlier in the season.
