    • Headed for MRI
Grissom, who was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a right hamstring strain, is slated to undergo an MRI, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports. "We're not there yet," manager Alex Cora said, when asked about a timeline for Grissom's return. "He feels like it wasn't as bad as in spring training. But he's getting imaging so we'll know."

Advice: Grissom's upcoming MRI should shed light on the severity of the hamstring strain he sustained in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Tigers. As Cora notes, Grissom was previously slowed by a left groin/hamstring injury in spring training, which prevented the 23-year-old from making his Red Sox debut until May 3. For whatever length of time Grissom is sidelined this time around, Enmanuel Valdez is likely to serve as the Red Sox's primary second baseman against right-handed pitching, while Jamie Westbrook should be the main option at the keystone versus lefties. • Wins with quality start
Lodolo (5-2) allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk over six innings Sunday, striking out three and earning a win over the Cubs.

Advice: Lodolo kept the Cubs off the board through four innings before they tallied a run in the fifth and sixth innings. He's allowed three runs over 11.1 innings while winning his last two starts since returning from the injured list. However, he's totaled just six punchouts during that span. On the year, Lodolo owns a 3.11 ERA with a 49:10 K:BB through 46.1 frames. His next start is projected to be a rematch with the Cubs at home. Rotowire.com Today, 6:02 am

    • Collects three hits in loss
Bellinger went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Bellinger played well but the rest of Chicago's lineup could only muster five hits overall, which limited his ability to collect counting stats. The 28-year-old is batting .318 over his last 10 games with a home run, four runs scored and five RBI. If Bellinger gets more support from his teammates, he could really take off across the board, though he should have plenty of fantasy value either way given his ability to hit the ball over the fall and swipe a base on occasion. • Notches 16th save
Finnegan picked up the save Sunday against Cleveland, allowing one hit and zero walks while striking out zero in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Finnegan's strong season continued Sunday, and his 16 saves are tied for fourth in the major leagues. The 32-year-old has been remarkably consistent, allowing just one earned run since March 31 and converting 14 of 15 save opportunities during that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:33 pm
    • Fernando Tatis Jr. drives in one in loss
Fernando Tatis Jr. went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI in a loss to the Royals on Sunday.

Advice: Tatis Jr. gave the Padres a 2-1 lead in the eighth inning with a run-scoring single that should have been enough to close this one out. It was his 31st RBI of the season and while the 25-year-old hasn’t truly exploded at any point this year, he could easily finish the season with 30 home runs and 20 steals, which is impressive work. If he can keep his batting average around .270, he should still put up fringe first-round value even though he hasn’t stood out as an elite fantasy player at any stretch this season. • Nick Lodolo efficient in win over Cubs
Nick Lodolo allowed two runs on seven hits in a win over the Cubs on Sunday.

Advice: Lodolo struck out three and walked one on the day. Nothing he gave up was hit overly hard, but he also didn’t miss many bats either with just eight whiffs on 42 swings for a 19 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW. Still, he survived a solid Cubs offense and now has a 3.11 ERA heading into a rematch in Cincinnati next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:25 pm

    • Receiving breather Sunday
Realmuto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Realmuto started the first two games of the series and will receive Sunday off after going 0-for-8 with four strikeouts and a run scored. Garrett Stubbs will step in behind the plate and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:15 pm

    • Kyle Finnegan nails down 16th save
Kyle Finnegan worked a scoreless ninth inning on Sunday against the Guardians to earn the save. He allowed one hit and didn’t strike a batter out.

Advice: The only pitchers with more saves than Finnegan this season are Ryan Helsley, Emmanuel Clase, and Robert Suárez while he’s tied with Clay Holmes. He’s been rock-solid as well with a sparkling 1.57 ERA and has a firm hold on closing duties in Washington. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:11 pm
    • Gerrit Cole will need at least two rehab starts
Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone told reporters on Sunday that Gerrit Cole (elbow) will need at least a couple of minor league rehab starts before he’s ready to make his 2024 debut.

Advice: Cole will make his first minor league rehab start at Double-A Somerset on Tuesday. His next turn will come five days after that. If he needs just two starts, his regular season debut would likely come against the Red Sox at some point during their series starting on June 14. If he needs a third tune-up in the minor leagues, it’s likely that his debut would come the following week against the Braves. As long as he avoids any setbacks, his return appears to be imminent.
