    • DL Hall will make one more rehab start
Brewers manager Pat Murphy confirmed that DL Hall (knee) will make “at least one more” rehab start with Triple-A Nashville.

Advice: Hall threw 60 pitches in three innings on Saturday, allowing one run on five hits while striking out four and walking one. While he gave up some hard contact, his four-seam fastball averaged 94.7 mph, which is up over two mph from his early starts with the Brewers. The team has worked to get his velocity back up while he was rehabbing his knee, and the work may have paid off. Hall was an intriguing fantasy starter coming into the year and might be in for a solid summer if he can remain healthy. Rotoworld Today, 7:56 am

    • Posts quality start Sunday
Pfaadt allowed one run on five hits and two walks while striking out eight over six innings Sunday against the Athletics. He did not factor into the decision.

Advice: Pfaadt carried a shutout into the fifth inning before serving up a solo home run to Zack Gelof to tie the game at one apiece. That was the lone mark against him, though it was enough to cost him a chance at the win after the Diamondbacks didn't take the lead back until the bottom of the seventh. Sunday was the third time in June Pfaadt punched out eight batters, but it came on the heels of consecutive starts in which he combined for just two strikeouts in 12.2 innings. Length has been a strength for Pfaadt, as he's gone at least six innings in 13 of his last 15 starts. The 25-year-old owns a 4.28 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 94:26 K:BB in 103 innings and lines up for his next start against division-rival Padres over the weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 6:28 am
    • Brandon Pfaadt strikes out eight Sunday vs. A’s
Brandon Pfaadt recorded eight strikeouts and yielded one run over six innings on Sunday in a no-decision against the Athletics.

Advice: Pfaadt carried a shutout into the fifth inning on Sunday afternoon at Chase Field before coughing up a solo shot to Zack Gelof, which represented the lone tally against him in a low-scoring affair. He generated 13 swinging strikes, utilizing his entire five-pitch arsenal in this one, and finished with a near-elite 37 percent CSW. It was the type of outing fantasy managers have been expecting more consistently this season from the 25-year-old hurler on the heels of last year’s stellar postseason run. He’ll carry a respectable 4.28 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 94/26 K/BB ratio across 103 innings (17 starts) into a road matchup on Saturday against the division-rival Padres. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:51 pm
    • Notches third straight win
Bibee (7-2) picked up the win Saturday, allowing two runs on four hits over six innings in a 7-2 victory over the Royals. He struck out three without walking a batter.

Advice: The right-hander looked shaky early, serving up solo shots to Vinnie Pasquantino in the first inning and Michael Massey in the second, but Bibee didn't let a runner even get to second base after that. He's reeled off three straight wins, all quality starts, and he'll take a 3.47 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 109:22 K:BB through 93.1 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Giants. • Battles Skenes in no-decision
Fried allowed one run on six hits and three walks while striking out four batters over six innings in a no-decision against Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Advice: Fried pitched very well in the contest, matching the six-inning, six-hit, one-run line put up by rookie phenom Paul Skenes for the Pirates. The Atlanta hurler has given up exactly one run in each of his past three starts, though he was just one win in that span. While Fried's strikeout numbers are down this season -- he has just 84 punchouts over 96 innings -- he's put up his usual ace-quality ratios otherwise with a 2.91 ERA and 1.09 WHIP through 16 starts. • Max Fried limits Pirates to one over six
Max Fried fired six innings while allowing one run with four strikeouts in a no-decision versus the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Fried wasn’t as dominant in terms of missing bats as his starting counterpart Paul Skenes was, but he was effective nonetheless. The southpaw hurler did allow six hits and three walks, but he was unscored upon minus a sac fly in the fifth inning from Edward Olivares. Fried now has a 2.91 ERA on the campaign, and he’s scheduled to take on the Phillies and Aaron Nola on Friday. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:18 pm

    • Bibee picks up seventh win against Royals Saturday
Tanner Bibee allowed two runs in six innings and got the win in the Guardians’ 7-2 victory over the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Bibee gave up four hits, walked none and struck out three. The win was his seventh of the season and third in a row. It wasn’t a big strikeout game for Bibee, just another solid outing. He has a 3.47 ERA and 3.29 xFIP on the year. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Giants at home next week.

    • Allows two runs in loss
Scherzer (1-1) took the loss against the Orioles on Friday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

Advice: Scherzer surrendered a solo home run to Colton Cowser in the fourth inning and an RBI single to Gunnar Henderson in the fifth. He retired the first batter of the sixth frame but was pulled at 77 pitches, as he is still building up his pitch count. The 39-year-old passed Greg Maddux for 11th on the all-time strikeout list and now has 3,375 career punchouts. In two starts this season, he owns a 1.74 ERA, 0.68 WHIP and 8:2 K:BB over 10.1 innings and lines up to face the Padres next week. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:56 pm
    • Max Scherzer wills his way to an effective start
Max Scherzer allowed two earned runs in 5 1/3 innings on Friday against the Orioles. He struck out four and walked two in a loss.

Advice: This version of Scherzer could be effective if he wasn’t pitching against the best lineup in baseball. He stayed around the zone, made hitters feel uncomfortable, mixed all five of his pitches, and got his fastball up to 95 MPH. It isn’t pretty, but there’s still a fierce competitor here with a wide repertoire who knows how to wield it. Rotoworld Friday, 6:43 pm
