Michael King tagged for five runs in loss Sunday
Michael King struggled in a losing effort against the Brewers on Sunday afternoon, giving up five runs on nine hits over his six innings of work.
Advice: King helped to salvage his day, at least from a fantasy perspective, by racking up eight strikeouts and issuing just one base on balls. All of the damage done against him came in the second inning, as the Brewers strung together five singles and a triple to push five runs across. He settled in nicely after that and finished his day with four scoreless frames, but it was too late at that point. King got 11 swings and misses on 97 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 31 percent. The highly inconsistent right-hander will carry a 3.75 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and a 109/38 K/BB ratio (93 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Red Sox in Boston.
