    • Kicks off rehab assignment
Jones (back) began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Albuquerque on Wednesday and went 0-for-3 with a strikeout and an RBI.

Advice: Jones received three plate appearances and played five innings in left field in his first game action since he landed on the 10-day injured list in late April with a low-back strain. He shouldn't need too many rehab games before being activated since he hasn't been sidelined for an extended period, but the Rockies haven't provided a firm target date for his return to the big club. The 26-year-old has slashed a disappointing .170/.243/.277 with one home run and two stolen bases over 103 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:16 am

    • Continues strong offensive stretch
Doyle went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run and a walk Wednesday in an 8-0 victory against San Diego.

Advice: Doyle's second-inning solo shot put Colorado on the board, and he crossed the plate again in the third following a one-out walk. The center fielder has reached base safely in eight straight contests and is batting .333 (9-for-27) with two homers, five RBI, nine runs and four stolen bases over that stretch. He still has a problematic 27.9 percent strikeout rate on the campaign, but it's been a more-tolerable 21.4 percent during the eight-game span. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:37 pm

    • Brenton Doyle helps to power Rockies past Padres
Brenton Doyle clobbered a two-run homer on Wednesday, helping to power the Rockies to victory over the Padres in San Diego.

Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old outfielder opened the scoring in the contest with a 431-foot (108.5 mph EV) solo shot off of Michael King in the top half of the second inning. He also worked a walk in the third inning and raced around to score on a two-run single by Jacob Stallings. Doyle finished the afternoon 1-for-4 and is now slashing .281/.337/.464 with five long balls, 13 RBI and eight swipes on the season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 3:53 pm

    • Snaps power drought Tuesday
Harris went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-0 win over the Cubs.

Advice: The 23-year-old center fielder snapped a 20-game homer drought by taking Jameson Taillon deep in the fourth inning, kicking off a six-run frame that blew the game wide open. Harris is just one of a number of Atlanta hitters who has had a sluggish start to the season -- Tuesday's long ball was his first extra-base hit of any kind since April 26 -- but he may be heating up, as he has five hits and two walks over the last four games, lifting his slash line on the year to .260/.305/.390. • Michael Harris II homers in win over Cubs
Michael Harris II went 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk in a win over the Cubs on Tuesday.

Advice: Harris hit a solo shot off of Jameson Taillon in the fourth inning that traveled 426 feet and left the bat at 106.7 mph. It was his fourth home run and 15th RBI of the season. The 23-year-old is one of quite a few Braves hitters who aren’t living up to their typical production early in the season. Still, there is nothing under the hood that suggests Harris is struggling, and he should be in for a solid summer ahead. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:49 pm

    • Steals in four straight
Doyle went 0-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored Monday against the Padres.

Advice: Doyle was unable to extend a modest five-game hitting streak, but he was still impactful by tallying his eighth stolen base of the year. He's also stolen a base in each of his last four games, displaying a significant increase in aggressiveness on the basepaths. Doyle is hitting .283 with 25 runs scored across 160 plate appearances on the season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:47 am

    • Nearing rehab stint
Jones (back) will join Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday but will not immediately begin a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Jones is traveling to Albuquerque with Kris Bryant (back), but he's behind his teammate in his recovery process. He'll continue to ramp up his activity prior to appearing in games, but the Rockies hope he'll be ready to return from the 10-day injured list by late May. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:14 am

    • Leaves yard Sunday
Tatis went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Tatis got the Padres on the board early with a first inning solo blast off Walker Buehler. That's now at least a hit in eight of his last nine games, during which he's hitting .342 with a pair of home runs, five RBI and six runs scored. Tatis continues to steadily produce, slashing .257/.335/.449 with eight homers, 22 RBI, 29 runs, six steals and a 17:41 BB:K in 188 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:40 pm
    • Fernando Tatis Jr. goes deep as Padres top Dodgers
Fernando Tatis Jr. went 1-for-3 and blasted a mammoth solo home run on Sunday as the Padres shut out the Dodgers 4-0 in San Diego.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar opened the scoring in the contest with a mammoth 442-foot (109.2 mph EV) solo shot off of Walker Buehler in the home half of the first inning. He was also plunked by Ryan Yarbrough later in the ballgame. While he’s not completely lighting the world on fire, Tatis has still been very productive from a fantasy perspective this season — slashing .257/.335/.449 with eight homers, 22 RBI and six stolen bases (in seven attempts).
