    • Delivers clutch effort in win
Happ went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Happ had his first three-hit effort since April 16 and his last hit was his biggest, a two-run double in the bottom of the eighth inning that turned a one-run deficit into a one-run lead for the Cubs. While the outfielder is batting just .232 on the season, he's up to .303 over his last 10 games, and his track record suggests he should continue to trend upward. • On bench vs. southpaw
Lowe is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: Lowe was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Monday after missing time with an oblique issue, but he's not in the lineup for his first game back since lefty Jesus Luzardo is starting for Miami. Randy Arozarena, Jose Siri and Jonny DeLuca will start across the outfield while Harold Ramirez serves as the designated hitter. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:27 pm

    • Activated from injured list
The Rays reinstated Lowe (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Monday.

Advice: Tampa Bay is off Monday, but the club went ahead and officially put Lowe back on its active roster ahead of their series against the Marlins, which begins Tuesday. Lowe has been limited to just 14 games this season because of a pair of oblique strains, but he's ready to roll after going 4-for-12 with a triple, three runs and two RBI over three rehab games with Triple-A Durham. He'll likely see most of his playing time in right field for the Rays but could also play some in center. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:57 am

    • Rays activate Josh Lowe (oblique) from 10-day IL
Rays activated OF Josh Lowe from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: As anticipated, Lowe will be back in uniform with the team when they kick off their two-game set against the Marlins in Miami on Tuesday. Prior to his stint on the injured list, the 26-year-old outfielder had been hitting .240/.296/.440 with two dingers and three RBI in his first 50 at-bats. Jonathan Aranda was optioned to Triple-A Durham in a corresponding move on Monday. Rotoworld Monday, 10:47 am

    • Tracking toward Tuesday return
Lowe (oblique) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday's game in Miami after he completed a rehab assignment at Triple-A Durham over the weekend, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Lowe went 4-for-12 with a triple, three runs and two RBI over the three-game rehab assignment and played all nine innings in right field in Sunday's contest. The 26-year-old has made a swift recovery from his right oblique strain, a recurrence of a previous injury that had kept him on the shelf for the first five weeks of the season. Once activated, Lowe will likely move between center field, right field and designated hitter while occupying a prominent spot in the lineup against right-handed pitching. Lowe's impending return could result in the likes of Jose Siri and Richie Palacios losing out on playing time. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:45 am

    • Josh Lowe (oblique) likely to rejoin Rays Tuesday
Josh Lowe (oblique) is expected to rejoin the Rays for Tuesday’s series opener against the Marlins in Miami.

Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old outfielder played three games with Triple-A Durham over the weekend and Rays’ skipper Kevin Cash was “very encouraged” by how he looked. Lowe has been sidelined since May 23 due to a right oblique strain. Before he was shelved, he had been hitting .240/.296/.440 with a pair of homers and three RBI in his first 50 at-bats on the season. Rotoworld Monday, 5:39 am

    • Goes deep again Friday
Happ went 1-for-3 with a walk, a two-run home run and three total RBI in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Happ did his best to keep the Cubs in the game, launching his sixth home run of the season in the second inning, then walking home a run with the bases loaded in the fifth. The outfielder has gone deep four times over his last six games, and he has a robust 1.184 OPS during the stretch. Happ's overall numbers don't look as good, but he's worth riding with while he's hot. Rotowire.com Saturday, 5:56 am

    • Josh Lowe (oblique) posts two hits Friday at AAA
Josh Lowe (oblique) went 2-for-4 with a run scored on Friday for Triple-A Durham.

Advice: There’s some buzz that Lowe will be ready to return to Tampa Bay early next week, but he’s going to get in at least a couple additional rehab contests this weekend for Triple-A Durham. The 26-year-old fantasy stalwart has been out since late May recovering from a mild right oblique strain. Rotoworld Saturday, 5:06 am

    • Ian Happ hits rare opposite-field homer in loss
Ian Happ had a two-run homer and a bases-loaded walk Friday to supply three of the Cubs’ four runs against the Reds.

Advice: Happ’s 364-foot homer, hit as a left-hander to the most generous part of Wrigley in left-center, was his first to the opposite field since 2022. He has four homers in six games after totaling just two in 47 games to start the year. Rotoworld Friday, 2:40 pm
