Brice Turang singled twice, drew a walk and belted a grand slam on Saturday night as the Brewers were thwarted by the Padres in San Diego.

Advice: Turang led off the game with a walk but was gunned down by Kyle Higashioka while attempting to steal second base. He then singled to center in the third inning and was once again cut down trying to nab second base. Turang had been caught stealing just twice all season entering play on Saturday. He then prevented a shut out with a two-out grand slam off of Jhony Brito in the ninth inning that pulled the Brewers to within two runs at 6-4. Oneil Cruz homered and scored two runs in a 4-2 win for the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Cruz obliterated a Zack Eflin pitch for a 445-foot dinger to tie the game at 1-1 in the first. The 25-year-old also drew a walk and came around to score a few batters later. Advice: Cruz, who has been dealing with a sore ankle over the last few days, will take a seat to open Tuesday’s contest with lefty Nick Lodolo toeing the rubber for Cincinnati. Advice: Turang plated the final run of the contest with his 419-foot solo shot in the fifth inning. The second-year infielder has gone deep four times through 68 games this season after hitting six homers in 137 contests last year. Turang's skill set is more centered on speed than power, so anything fantasy managers get in the homer department is a nice bonus. The speedster has made a big impact on the rosters of fantasy managers who had the foresight to pick him up late in fantasy drafts or on the waiver wire, as he's slashing .291/.359/.406 on the season with 25 RBI, 35 runs and 26 stolen bases in 27 attempts. Oneil Cruz delivered a two-run single on Monday, lifting the Pirates to a 4-1 victory over the Reds.

Advice: Cruz put the Pirates ahead for good with a two-run single off Reds starter Carson Spiers in the opening frame, which wound up being more than enough run support for young ace Paul Skenes and Pittsburgh’s bullpen in a low-scoring affair at PNC Park. It was somehow the first meeting this season between the longtime division rivals.
