It was the star shortstop's third multi-hit performance in his last three games and he's now tallied at least one RBI in four straight. Witt is 6-for-11 (.545) through three games to start the month of July and his .319 average on the season puts him at second in the majors behind only Steven Kwan (.367).       Doval allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Thursday's 4-2 win over Atlanta.

      Advice: Doval has converted his first two save chances in July after a tumultuous June. He's allowed one run over his last seven innings, converting four of his five save chances in that span. Overall, he's 16-for-19 in saves with a 4.15 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 46:22 K:BB through 34.2 innings, though his status as the Giants' closer hasn't been threatened.       Camilo Doval tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Braves on Thursday.

      Advice: Suzuki entered the game having struck out 12 times against just one walk in 25 plate appearances over his previous six games but reached base four times on two hits and a couple of walks, leading to a season-high three runs scored. It was just the fourth time this season Suzuki drew multiple free passes in a game. He also recorded his eighth stolen base of the season in 10 tries, leaving him just one shy of a career high. The second baseman is at a .201/.263/.361 slash line with nine home runs, 23 RBI and 30 runs scored over 67 contests, and his 36.2 percent strikeout rate is weighing down the rest of his stat line.
