    • Hit hard again Sunday
Lopez (4-5) allowed six runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out six over 4.2 innings, taking the loss Sunday versus the Rangers.

Advice: Corey Seager led the charge against Lopez with two home runs and three RBI. Lopez has now allowed 16 runs and 25 hits over his last 16 innings, with five of those knocks being homers. He had a 3.89 ERA after his May 9 start versus the Mariners, but it's now at 5.25 with a 1.17 WHIP and 69:10 K:BB through 60 innings across 11 outings this season. Lopez is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Astros. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:44 pm
    • Pablo López struggles again, allows six runs
Pablo López allowed six earned runs in 4 ⅔ innings against the Rangers on Sunday. He struck out six and walked one.

Advice: López continued what’s been a poor season thus far. The six strikeouts were nice, but came with only seven swings and misses. He’s at his best when he’s missing bats with all four of his pitches, but neither his changeup nor curveball induced a whiff in this one. His strong peripherals suggest a bounce back is coming, but a 5.25 ERA on Memorial Day is quite ugly. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:27 pm
    • Chris Sale wins again after seven strong innings
Chris Sale allowed just one earned run across seven innings in an 8-1 win for the Braves over the Pirates on Sunday. He struck out eight and walked none.

Advice: The win was Sale’s eighth of the season. He’s pitching the best he has in at least five seasons and by some measures, as well as he has in his entire career. He’s striking out his highest percentage of batters since 2019 and walking the least he ever has! The Pirates got on him in the second inning for a run and then Sale proceeded to retire the next 12 batters he faced. He is once again an ace that can be relied on as such. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:32 pm

    • Stumbles against Brewers
Crawford (2-3) took the loss Friday, coughing up six runs on seven hits and two walks over 4.1 innings as the Red Sox fell 7-2 to the Brewers. He struck out four.

Advice: It was the worst performance of the season for the right-hander, who failed to complete five innings for the first time since April 5 and got tagged for more than three earned runs for just the second time in 11 starts. Crawford will take a 2.89 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 61:20 K:BB through 62.1 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Baltimore. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:10 am

    • Kutter Crawford surrenders six runs in defeat
Kutter Crawford lasted only 4 1/3 innings and gave up six runs Friday in a loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Crawford allowed only five hard-hit balls on the night, but he couldn’t stop the bleeding in either the third or the fifth, giving up three runs each inning. After opening up with a 0.66 ERA in his first five starts, Crawford has come in at 4.64 in his last six outings. He’ll pitch in Baltimore next time out, making him a mediocre play in mixed leagues. • Andrew Abbott has next start pushed back two days
Andrew Abbott will have his next scheduled start pushed back from Sunday to Tuesday.

Advice: It’s an encouraging development for fantasy managers, as he’ll now avoid the Dodgers and will instead do battle against the Cardinals at home. The Reds have yet to announce a starter for Sunday’s contest and may wind up utilizing their bullpen heavily in that one instead. Rotoworld Friday, 2:37 pm

    • Receiving extra rest
Abbott's next start will come Tuesday against St. Louis, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: Abbott was initially scheduled to start Sunday against the Dodgers, but he'll instead get a full week off between starts after tossing seven innings in back-to-back appearances. He'll also trade in a tough matchup with the Dodgers for a significantly easier opponent in the Cardinals. The 25-year-old has a 3-4 record on the season but boasts a 2.68 ERA across 57 innings. • Goes seven innings in win
Wheeler (6-3) earned the win Thursday over the Rangers, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks over seven innings. He struck out five.

Advice: After Adolis Garcia led off the second inning with a home run, Wheeler held the Rangers off the board until Ezequiel Duran's two-out RBI single in the seventh. It's the sixth win in Wheeler's last seven starts, and he's pitched at least seven innings in back-to-back outings and three of his last four. His ERA sits at 2.53 on the season with a 0.98 WHIP and 76:21 K:BB in 67.2 innings. Wheeler is currently lined up for a road matchup with the Giants in his next start. • Zack Wheeler fires seven strong in win over Rangers
Zack Wheeler held the Rangers to two runs over seven innings while picking up a win Thursday.

Advice: Wheeler scattered five hits with two walks, and he struck out five. The blemishes on the scoreboard came on an Adolis Garcia homer in the second and an infield single by Ezekiel Duran in the seventh. Outside of that, it was another strong outing for the 33-year-old that sees him lower his ERA to 2.53 as he worked at least seven innings for the third time in four starts. He’s scheduled to get the Giants on Tuesday. Rotoworld Thursday, 1:16 pm
